Longterm I am glad you find it amusing, but for some the virus was devastating caused financial stress, job loss and death, and as for easyJet, it is owned 66% by institutional investors, that is a lot of control over this stock, why would they ride this into winter time, because the slowdown of travel has already started and So will the slow down on profit for most airlines, they could easily move money about to make more money in a stock that will do better over this period and buy back into easyJet at a lower price maximising profit, is that not logical?

Just skimed through the news, from the stats the new covid variant is very worrying, and could cause serious disruption for Air travel and hospitality industry yet again, I would not want to be holding easyjet going into the next few months, still think there is a a large drop to come and into the low 300s , but who knows!
