I have been in and out of this share for many years. I have always lost money with this share. At the moment I am in a very small profit. Tempted to sell , mainly because I think the BoD are incompetent . Is there a profitable future for this company or will it go bust?

Whilst I am pleased that my gold and silver mining stocks are rising fast , I am a bit worried as my most valuable assets are my pensions and economic collapse will affect all of us. I would like a relatively stable and kind world for my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Be careful what you wish for.....

Glencore up Rio down, presumably the market thinks we are over paying. I thought that Glencore had huge piles of debt and is this what one wants to take on at this time ???

Similar, I have sold in two tranches, I still have about a third of my holding . I now have more Barrick than Anglo Gold Ashanti . Most of my ISA share portfolio is in gold and silver and platinum miners. 2025 may have been a bad year with Putin and Trump, but it was a good year for precious metal miners. I worry about the security risks with physical precious metals and mining stocks seem a reasonable compramise.

Yes I have a bit of Pan American Silver as well. One of my best shares has been Barrick Mining . I sold about half my Anglo Gold Ashanti and put the money into these two and a few other small miners. I probably should have kept it all in AGA but I sort of like to diversify, even it is mainly diversification into other mining stocks !

I imagine that many of us could afford to buy this company, but could we afford its debts ? Like many I have lost with this company. Graphene may have many uses in the future but unfortunately I do not think that his company has a future.

Mind you his remaining shares are worth diddly squat.......

I have no problem buying and selling Canadian and American ( mainly mining) stocks with my Barclays ISA account. Years ago I much preferred my Charles Schwab account, but this was taken over by Barclays. Not the cheapest account, but it does work.

I think Barclays set the exchange date daily.

Like most of those who have gold mining shares, I have done well this year, But I sort of worry that if gold does too well , then Government will start to tax gold profits more. Such as perhaps the UK removing the CGT free element on gold coins.

All my shares are in an ISA . Message re Petra, if I want to take up share offer I will have to move shares out of isa as I have used my full ISA limit this year. Can I ask what are other UK Petra investors doing ?

Ricketts sales in 2019 and 2021 seem about the only profitable things in this company. Shame about all the shareholders losses. Would he care to return some of his profit back to the share holders ????

Back in profit, very small profit, but profit is better than a loss!

I also have a few of these, I am tempted to buy a few more . But I want to keep some cash in my isa incase we get a general fall in markets later this year or in the Spring. I am mainly precious metal shares that have done well with the gold rally.
