PHE continues to remain trading either side of 0.48p week after week. Any ideas as what news will make it breakout higher?

Yes, a careful rns that provides the facts and figures but, also hints at much more to come in my opinion. I feel they're getting on with it and doing a good job. Stay tuned folks!

Today's figures appear to indicate:

Vol.Sold. 3.3m

Vol.Bought 8.3m

On a 'normal' day you'd expect the sp to rise based on these figures.

I think buying will escalate massively once placing shares are listed and some good news arrives.

I'm no expert at monitoring the Whites selling of shares but, judging by the daily vol.Sold figures I'd guess it's more like £30k - £50k per day. Ie: up to 10m shares per day.

Yes, too many unknowns here for now which , of course act as a breeding ground for theories and wild speculation. I'm not knocking it as I come up with a few myself.

My feeling is that the Whites are selling out for personal reasons and not because they know something is badly wrong with PHE. As Castle says, they're definitely selling. That's obvious but, what's important is when will they stop. Clearly, once they stop selling and some good news emerges then the sp should rise. Simples! Ha!

I reckon news confirming the first contract is in the bag (even a small one) will really get this motoring. It'll be proof to a degree that it all works.

I also reckon some government approval of the technology would be a massive game changer for PHE. I'd like to see that happen.

I personally can't imagine any offers being made by anyone at this stage. Highly improbable in my opinion.

Also, if PHE has received any approach or preliminary offer then, I think an RNS would be needed.

I don't see anything unusual going on here myself. Just a (possibly disgruntled) large shareholder wanting out for reason as yet unknown and a placing.

I'm sure the news flow will resume after the placing and with any luck we'll have more detailed information and a better understanding as to progress etc..

If you read my original post you'll notice that I made it very clear that this all theory on my part.

I'm not claiming it to be fact.

As I suggested in a previous post. I think a broker has arranged with the White's and PHE to clear a large volume (possibly all 550m shares) by way of an agreed price (0.5p) over the next few weeks. Once the process has been completed I think the news flow will resume and the sp free to move. Also, I  think an opportunity to do a placing at the time was taken (hence the sudden change in so called 'market conditions').

News and updates are what I want to read at the moment rather than chart technicals.

PE will no doubt be releasing news on a number of possible fronts this year. But, what I'd like to see soon is some basic performance data for the FTU and an insight into its capabilities. They must have some data already and we know that a few potential clients are requesting this information.

An update confirming negotiations are at an advanced stage with a number of clients would give pi's the confidence they've been looking for.

It would also be significant to hear that government ministers have been invited to witness the technology working. PHE would only need the UK gov to recommend that existing large scale recyclers take up this new tech going forwards to meet net zero etc.. and PHE will be in a very different league altogether.

Also, if such an arrangement has been organised then, PE wouldn't be able to release too much by way of share price moving news yet. I think the breaks are on as it were.

This in my opinion explains the somewhat muted updates since the open day.

Definitely a theory. But, if the Whites decided they want out then, some sort of a deal/exit plan would be needed to shift 500m shares quickly. I'm certain the placing was a consequence and sudden opportunity taken quickly by PE. All arranged privately via a broker.

I'm hoping, if I'm right, PE will announce more detailed news regarding the FTU and sales potential following the open day.

Then we can hopefully see the sp recover.

It's only a thought but, I wonder if the White's have made an agreement with a broker to sell/clear their remaining stake at 0.5p (also happens to be the placing price)? Maybe that's why the sp has been held at 0.5p despite all the sell volumes going through.

Perhaps PE is waiting for this process to pass before he releases significant news.

If recent daily sold volumes have been averaging c.20m shares (roughly 100m weekly) then, the Whites could be mostly out by the end of April. Assuming that most of the daily sold volumes are due to the Whites selling.

Despite 11.7m sell vol. vs 200k buy vol. the sp remains unchanged . Why?

Most probably the White's selling.

Onwards and upwards

The placing has been modest and very manageable in my opinion. This may reflect the confidence the bod's have in future sales from the new tech. It's quite possible that there will be no future placings.

Most folks who attended the open day and tech demo say they were very impressed with what they saw.

Bid/ask 0.49/0.51

Let's hope this takes off after the placing.

Way more reasons to go up than down now.

After the placing I'd expect a surge of buys with the prospect of news coming soon.
