I thought an update on the well clean up would have arrived by now. It's been over 3 weeks now and the well clean up has been in progress 24/7 as stated in the last rns
I wonder if they're getting anywhere near the 500bopd?
I would have thought that a placing is the real reason to address the 20bn shares in circulation.
But, there's nothing wrong with another placing. It's a necessity for UJO. It's the future prospects that are important and being in a stronger position to take advantage of them.
It's about time DB dealt with the ridiculous 20bn shares in circulation.
DB will obviously be wanting to make another placing in the future and so a consolidation had to happen sooner or later.
Very true Propinquity.
The near term news and sp driver is the PERP and jv deal which could be getting very close now.
Cornwall, Redmoor seems like a rather long term project on a completely different timescale. I wonder how other shareholders feel about this asset?
Hi Lupidog
The strong rise in copper couldn't be better for SML and LCCM.
Do you have any calculations for what LCCM could be worth now relative to what was originally paid for the asset?
Or, the value of the Partridge North deposit?
When the PERP news arrives, providing it's all positive, the share price should move significantly as the copper asset is finally realised. A decent re-rate of the share to reflect the value in LCCM as that copper becomes a cash generating business.
This should be accompanied by news on the jv too.
Nice to see plenty of activity for a change.
X160 trades so far today.
I can see SML breaking 1p soon with lots of renewed interest in this share now.
I remember selling this at 3p+ a few years back and I'm sure we'll see 3p again.
Great news for Wressle
US President Joe Biden will sign a series of executive orders aimed to address climate change, including a new ban on some energy drilling.
The orders aim to freeze new oil and gas leases on public lands and double offshore wind-produced energy by 2030.
They are expected to meet stiff resistance from the energy industry and come as a sea change from Donald Trump, who cut environmental protections.
Mr Biden will also label climate change a "national security" priority.
The series of executive orders that Mr Biden is due to sign on Wednesday will establish a White House office of domestic climate policy and announce a summit of leaders in the movement to tackle climate change to be held in April.
Today's RNS is better than I was expecting and by a mile.
It leaves me wondering just how massive this will eventually will prove up to be.
I'm happy to see small daily gains.
I think the sp is working it's way back towards the 0.30's again.
This sounds good:
Highlights
· Substantial hydrocarbon column within a gross 62 metre interval encountered in the Kirkham Abbey formation
· Pending confirmation of logging and other information, in conjunction with the WNB-1 well result, there is scope for the overall hydrocarbon column to considerably exceed the current identified interval
