Why the doubts SRA73713 Feb 2020 14:37
I think we should remain positive with regards to SRA737 and Sierra, and after reading this statement from the pre-lims again I see no reason why we shouldn't be confident.
"Of note, we have recently received management support from a major immuno-oncology company to potentially supply their leading immunotherapeutic agent to run a combination study with SRA737. We will further analyze these opportunities and evaluate next steps with this asset over the coming months, exploring options to enable the continued advancement of SRA737 in the context of our emerging pipeline."
Since we are now the only Chk1, the potentially goes out of the window and if anyone wants to run a combo then it's us they will use. Nick will be using this, in my opinion, as leverage with this major company. I think the decision to not fund it from internal spends is an opportunistic approach which, granted can be taken as a negative but can and should be taken as a huge positive because of the unique position Sierra have found themselves in - Looking at how NG navigates this industry this non-dilutive strategy makes perfect sense and we should look forward to some compelling data and subsequent tie-up with a major immuno-oncology company as previously hinted.
