Can’t quite see JM quoting Morgan Freeman (from Deep Impact), “ Now, it may seem like we have each other over the same barrel but it just seems that way.”

But it does appear as a bit of negotiation play is definitely going on.

I was trying to examine the Brazilian bank announcement and wondered why announce a figure when JM wants to sort out all the funding in one go. Then also say they are talking to another Brazilian bank. Are we playing a bit of hurry up and get your act together with the main banks, because your portion of the pot is reducing. Or maybe just twisting a few arms to get better debt rates agreed from the big boys.

Any views?

Also ACP (500K @ 2.95p avg.) but will off load following mine license/funding. Metrics are good, but as you say Bwana, just have issues of the country longer term . Did trade in and out early on, but waiting on news now.

Funds won’t be going in here as have my core and comfortable with that. Hopefully if the timing is right stops me de risking HZM until 15p as opposed to 10/12p zone.

.... Or, dare I say it, advancing Vermelho? I don't believe (please someone correct me if I'm wrong) the Orion money had to be spent on Araguaia. It is simply exchange of cash for a future return from Araguaia.....

Believe that the Orion ‘Royalty Deal’ was to give funds for Araguaia development to funding stage. Don’t think it means they can’t use it as they see fit, but I’m sure Orion will be expecting to see monies spent on ensuring Araguaia gets to funding to give them a return .

However, nothing to stop Orion/HZM doing a Royalty deal on Vermelho to get the project to BFS and beyond. Would be a shrewd move on their part. This could land at anytime as it is independent to Araguaia finance and doesn’t need geologist/surveyors etc to conduct finances.

Thanks for clarifying the issue.

Got to say the board have once again demonstrated a very professional approach to getting funded sort. In the previous AGMs I attended, JM always maintained the view that he was mindful of shareholder dilution during the Finance Stage. This is excellent news and as you say if they can get way with minimal equity raise the better.

Orion’s quotes on ESG with regards to HZM, just add confirmation that they will be looking fo a big position in HZM. It may well be the complexity of the deal is tied up with how to ensure Vermelho isn’t given away cheaply to fund Araguaia. Hence the negotiations with cornerstone players.

Ok, financials isn’t my strong point. So not understanding the $32m within the Finance package. (Debt & Equity). I thought JM said that it will be all wrapped up as one. If so, isn’t the $32m just a rolling credit from a local back (ie an overdraft of sorts) not actually part of the overall debt funding for the construction phase.

Apologies if I’m way off the mark here. Happy if it is part of the debt finance as you say Pickedpeck, but any clarity would be much appreciated.

Agree that Covid has clearly had an impact on sorting a complex deal out. We won’t be the only company to face this, especially in EM jurisdictions.

Equity Cornerstone - Thought it would have been Teck with their board position, but great news either way. (Teck, Orion or Glencore).

Well i might add some more if the SP drifts into silly zone, but not selling any of my core. News on Vermelho may drop anytime and who knows if a offer for the lot doesn’t appear if Nickel keeps it head above $16K.

Sounds as though we will just get a progress update this side of Christmas. Hopefully the deal is sorted in early Q1-21.

Not so worried about the timeline, just frustrating seeing the SP drift around and not quite get traction upwards.

Herdie, to be honest, not sure myself. Only it feels that this should be well north of 20p currently.

Just feel the way we generate/mine coins show a revenue stream that is convertible to a P/E ratio and so give a pound value.

Have to agree, if the update comes in with good figures and no real path to dual listing. Genuinely feel we are likely to get taken out. Our assets are in North America, ideal for a company based there.

If we assume 16K is the November average Bitcoin price that’s around 4K more than October. Hoping the update due soon will be very positive. Although there maybe some costs attached to lease and machine upgrades. Also good for our coins being held.
