The FCA can restore suspended shares if the criteria for listing has been met, without requests....this for me, is outside of AZ’s control to a certain extent.

They have been suspended for quite a while. . .

I knew this would happen. . . I had a pot of money in a HL Fund and share account. Sold 1.5m SYME shares (Half the holding in that account) to put into my Wifes ISA. Literally the day the funds were cleared, the suspension hit. . .

Hi BigDave, this is actually what genuine and rational investors want to use these BB's for. Constructive chat. Only overemotional investors will complain about ramping and deramping. Sadly we do have some posters that have different motives for posting what they do and hurtling accusations of deramping/ramping. What you have posted is fair and rational. . . . Fair Play to you! David0097, we have something in common. . . . I am currently starting on my payroll and furlough claims, sleep is so overrated in January. I am so glad the penalties have been put back to February. That gives me a little more time for some of the repayment SA100's that I have left.

David0097, well everyday is a school day. . . I do not get involved with Audits, as part of my day to day and never have. . .I am surprised that they are not electronically filed. With everything going on at present, it would not surprise me if an iXBRL version will be accepted before long. (Apologies Robertjt)

That is incorrect. . . Electronic filing is almost instantaneous.

The FCA will not release the suspension until the accounts are up to date. . . You can guarantee that Companies House will need to be updated before the FCA will look at it.

StillGotMortage, I believe you are off the mark a little here. The suspension was voluntary in the respect that the year end was changed by the board (AZ), on a voluntary basis, off the back of of recommendations by advisors.

If a suspension was what AZ wanted, then a year end change is a way to achieve this.

As regards what will be upon relisting? No-one here actually knows for sure.

I am not sure we will hear anything this week. . . There looks like a little doozy has been done when shortening the year end. I did not spot it at first. . . They shortened the year end to 30 December 2019, then shortened the 31 December 2020 year end to 31 December 2019. This means that two sets of accounts are required, unless they can get Companies House to remedy the mistake. . . (Assuming it was a mistake that is).

I strongly suspect a more strategic thinker, might suspect that the risk reward ratio is swayed too much the wrong way. . . I lost quite a bit on this investment and have been keeping an eye on it. . . I don't believe that it will recover and at the moment I am not putting anything back in. JB probably saw this coming and is by far and a way the biggest winner of them all.

You need to keep an eye on the Companies House register. The accounts will need to be filed first, before the suspension is lifted by the FCA.

I would expect the suspension to be lifted within 24 hours of the accounts being filed, subject to FCA lead times.

It is a stock that is sold by producers like BP / Petro China. . . So more than likely.
