So are you saying that the contracts are still in place? if so then that's great news. i know funding was announced, does that mean drilling on the 30th license will be happening no matter what?! is that also helped by the $25m credit facility, or is that only phase 1?
Anyone know if these things are still in place: - 2 trees and wellheads ordered from GE (delivery May and August 2018) - Tubulars contract awarded to Tenaris - Well Management and Operator contract in place with Petrofac ??? Also, surely funding for 30th license commitments was already in place, so why not announce that on its own? can only assume its a wrapped up deal.
Something just starting to stir here. Held up very well to CLN conversion and some chunky sells. I would like to assume that the roadshow is going very well and drumming up lots of interest. Just imagine that funding is announced next week! 2 will be smashed.
Very true. I think whilst this time is dragging on, I am sure they will be making sure that everything else is in place and contracts are ready for signing etc. The infrastructure once the oil is out of the ground is already in place, so that's not the issue.
I am speculating because there's nothing else to do. i've tried to garner snippets of information but without success. all OGA have said is that it will be done in Q2 as don't want it to drift. I3E have stated that they're working on funding for both licenses, so lets just hope Q2 is an amazing period and beginning for this company. No more negatives from me i promise.
This has not been a main concern as never believed funding to be linked to it. But now that seems apparent, what impact does it have on their drilling programme or agreements with Contractors and drilling rigs etc. How long do those contracts last before they have to renew them, on potentially new terms. This delay has more impacts then getting more oil out of the ground.

I'm better with football than shares! ha As for the delay here, I believe given that its been nearly 4 weeks since the last RNS, we should be getting some sort of update. why not clarify the funding position with regards to the 30th round award?
“The Joint Venture discussions also contemplate capital being provided to i3 by an industrial party to enable the Liberator development to proceed utilising that party's funding alongside other credit facilities, even in circumstances where the Company is unsuccessful with its 30th Round application.” Basically insinuating almost that the 30th round is linked to financing. And vice versa.
