Not if the lending criteria is so stringent that the pool of customers that you can actually lend to is tiny. Unless the powers that be relax the rules somewhat, it's not commercially viable.

The minute the golden share was relinquished, MM has now called the bluff of all potential suitors. We've all pontificated and moaned for months on end about how the GS was terrible and preventing genuine approaches. Well, its put up or shut up time for all of these so-called activists and for MM too. If THG really did have multiple approaches (albeit informal) that smaller shareholders were not informed of, they should all be coming out of the woodwork again especially the positive recent trading update. It definitely feels like the final straight now either way - either there is a transaction of some sort or the THG business trades its way up to better valuation. No excuses now, good luck all.

The Iain Mcdonald vote is clearly not in-line with the rest. Every other resolution is in its 90s, Ian Macs is 76%!! That alone should be telling them something....

Even if the sp doesn't rally as much as expected today, it doesn't change the fact that the update is solid. Value will always prevail in the long term..

In terms of a premium listing...well..I'll believe it when I see it! It doesn't matter to me much, as long as the bottom line is healthy

Oh dear. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to sell my THG shares for a hefty profit, but Stevie this almost seems cult worship.
