Didn't have to go back far to find what's probably behind this lashing out. A few thoughts as we're in the business of giving out our free analysis on one another.

So based on below and a few other things I've picked up here goes :-

1. Approaching or not far past age 70 but unable to retire as the huge intellect hasn't really been commercially any good when it comes to making money.
2. Annoying as you'd assumed early on that being better than everyone else you would do better than everyone else.
3. Spreadbetting as you haven't really got the funds to trade having tied up your penny jar in cr@p shares that you can't get out of - no-one really speadbets on shares unless they're skint and has to gear..

How am I doing so far, shall I go back a few more months like you did and see what else I can come up with ?

No daughter in the US at altitude, and son played yesterday - albeit I'm probably lying about that too. Far too much time, off for a bike ride now, to try and reduce my enormous girth so I can get my trousers on Ho Ho Ho.

Maybe, not a fund manager though. I use funds to manage client portfolios. I trade myself for fun and research.

If you want to analyse, extreme Yellow with extreme red just behind - nothing else of any note unless it messes things up. Most people engage the yellow and don’t ever see the Red, some just go for the red from the outset.

Thanks likewise, every day is a learning day and I genuinely am happy to debate whether people agree with me or not. Most of what I trade couldn’t possibly be impacted by my or any other views/size of trades on the majority of these boards. I don’t really know what buckles opinion is on any share as we’ve not discussed anything share related - it’s been the 2 personal attacks this week from left field that’s riled me.

Let’s leave it (hopefully) there. GL with your investments too.

Long term, another complete lack of understanding of what you’re talking about. 30 years dealing with mainly the same people, not taken on new clients or advertised for 10.

buckle fern, I thought maybe you would stop poking. Trading metro since around £5, definitely down but overall £20k up on banks in the last two months. I manage client money with all portfolios in my model and up 7% this year in a cr@p market. Down 2% last December when global equities were 20% down on average. I don't count what I manage every day/week/year I just know my income is going up so their funds under management must be too...I said that fund managers take their salaries and don't have to meet all of the people that invest with them - I meet my clients every year - don't misquote me if you're going to troll back through a years posts to try and outsmart me.

profitbagger I was quoting somebody else that said they wouldn't sell until the shares reached £10 but sold yesterday at £2. Read it again you moron. Minor PI - you d!ck. Thanks ymas I wasn't being spikey, I just feel the market is over valuing a $10 a month music contract versus a $1000 repeat phone sale. There is also a lot more competition in the space they're moving in to - Netflix slowing down massively now is an example.
I don't get too bogged down with individual US stocks, I just read up on them to see if my overall view of a huge bubble has any merit.

Apple are hoping that the existing iPhone subscribers will take up the slack on music/films etc. now that sales are falling significantly. They're under price pressure too and are having to sell them cheaper. They don't even really want to report on iPhone numbers which says it all.

I've been looking in vain for a short FANG but can't find one. Apple will be less than $200 per share by christmas - can we have a friendly charity bet if you're convinced I'm wrong.
