With a massively declining high street retail business model a company has decided to open up a store in Bath.
12,500 sqft of retail space, so pretty big, 675,000 pa rent, 179,000 pa business rates, service charge c 24,000 pa. plus staff, plus fit out.
So, probably around 1 million to fit out and 1.5 million per annum to keep it running.
Do you think they've spotted a gap in the market with that sort of initial and ongoing outlay ?
One other question, if this is going to fly because of value or a takeover why are none of the rampers buying any more shares ?
Most are holding until they die, some are reducing to buy and lose elsewhere, some have just sold up and vanished - but none of you are actively buying - why is that ???
