Maverick for the avoidance of doubt I was shareholder until yesterday - I reduced a couple of weeks ago because I smelt a rat. We've now found the rat and it's a pretty big one.

I wouldn't currently be short or long here as both carry huge risk. Shorts could lose all of their ill gotten gains quite quickly, longs will continue to haemorrhage money if the BOE or similar don't put something more positive out there.

You bought at the wrong time, you didn't understand the risks - you still don't..!!!

A good day thanks, and shorting the Dax and FTSE paid for lunch, closed those trades and will start again today before the jobs numbers in the US spook things some more.

Anyway back to Metro, unless the BOE or Metro come out with something more positive than they have this will finish red today and the weekend will be a nervous one I suspect..
