This bb gets carried away on anything it can hang it’s hat on. One tweet which no one really knows to what it eludes and then it’s £5/£7 Goldman Sachs done deal - infinity and beyond BS.

If it’s got any real credibility for an increase to the share price something will drop in the press today or tomorrow. They can’t keep secrets even when they’re not true ?!

I’m holding so if it’s positive I’ll be very happy too but let’s calm it down.

My guess is that it’s customer focused rather than big picture company specific - hope I’m wrong.

It has to hold the undoubted previous support at 198, if it doesn't then all short term bets are off.

testing or controlled it makes no difference - if it does it remains a buy IMO

Fundamentals against it, but most on here aren't interested in fundamentals - it's a takeover play until they sort their sh 1t out.

GL - maybe drip feed to pound cost average rather than try and find the bottom. It only takes one Merlot in the wrong hands..

One bad day on the markets causing a worse day for metro, this was my concern and this is why I held off buying - I made no secret of it and the drifting at £2 once we went back there - despite the trolling and the abuse.

There will be many more bad days on the markets over the next few months if bubbles and history are any guide, I suspect most developed stock markets will be a lot lower at some point in the not too distant future - time will tell..

Anyway i'm still holding all of my recent buy, I thought about topping up or reducing and couldn't decide so did nothing.

198 has been key, and is again short term to decide the next few weeks direction of travel. If it properly holds i'll top up - if it doesn't i'll wait to 175 -180 which will happen IMO..

Index volatility slowly starting to increase, but on a positive note for metro Tesla are the most shorted stock in the US. The market cap is now more than General Motors and BMW combined and they have over $10 billion of debt. Check out the chart, the longs have it and the shorts are being badly squeezed...!!!!

He's trying to be clever as I eluded to earlier by suggesting he must be bullish if he bought metro rather than anything else.

He's long on LLoyds and posts mainly over there . As I also said on Saturday he's got his head on upside down if he thinks Lloyds are a better play than Metro at the moment.

day 2 onwards and for a few days/weeks will be the same - let's see who is right - Lloyds or Metro ATM ??!

So hundreds of shares/lots of indices and currencies to go long or short on - and you went long on Metro - sounds pretty bullish to me - why the long face ?!

Long on Lloyds which if I shorted shares I would short at the moment - very susceptible to interest rate drops, the threat of no deal, the threat of bad deal for financial services. significant US market risk.

I did well on Lloyds as one of 3 or 4 banks I held, I’m sat on my hands and think I will buy back at 55p. Metro a risk but a very different risk.

Not aimed at you Surrey, def not a troll that's just banter. My view has been wrong for weeks on the US and you sitting tight has been right. No issues, lost my gains on the banks so a bit peeved but increasing and loving it rather than running for cover.
The DAX and currency has enabled me to pay the gas bill so at least I'm keeping warm. You too have a good weekend.

No not bored, in the office today so a chance to catch up on work, and counting my b0llox.. You started on HopeSo who has similar reasons as me to be on here, you hated me being around the last time you were long, and to cap it all you accused me of being a notorious shorter of stocks.

2 balls view - 198 is showing huge support, has done several times. Risk and reward looking great on a medium to long term view. Takeover more than likely at some point.

1 ball view - market risk, FCA, cr@p numbers, shorts. interest rates falling, banks out of favour again.

On balance it's fundamentally a takeover play which I don't think will happen yet - so I'm happy to wait around and annoy people like you who annoy people like me who just want to share views have a chat and learn.
