I suggested that your six figure holding in Lloyds would struggle when the markets sold off (notice I was right a few days later..??!) and I would pick them up again at 55p/Lower.

So my point is that you should have sold some lloyds/bought some metro rather than deride and gloat ...!!!

are a lot less relevant and have been for weeks, don't get bogged down with them unless they significantly increase to over 10% again. Tesla short sellers have lost over $7 billion in the last 12 months- they're fund managers just the same - sometimes they get it right, at these levels on Metro they'll be wrong. Risk reward now definitely against them !!

More likely to drop rates as an insurance policy, 70% chance priced in by the market 2 weeks ago then it dropped to around 50/50- but then corona. Shouldn't affect metro much either way so I've just added some more. Loving the volatility - easy market to play ATM.

I can’t win, you spend time on the Metro bb telling us what bad decisions we’re making and how thick I am compared to you - and then when I come across to try and make new friends and improve myself as a human - that’s wrong too ?!

no probs, but bankrupt means effectively 100% destruction of shareholder value - or did they not need to be bailed out because they were effectively bankrupt. Maybe it's me that will win the darwin award this year - ironic :o)

So stop banging on about how great LLoyds is compared to Metro because of their dividends then..

They have pretty much destroyed shareholder value as much as Metro from peak to trough and today the prospects for a recovery in the share price are better for metro IMO - that was the main point !!!!! - if you can ever be bothered to work it out rather than just say market cap was never 400 billion you'll understand.
