Val's Gunner Win16 Mar 2026 07:13
A late win, but if we apply the Nick Ultras’ logic, the Gunners will never win the league again. They haven’t lifted the trophy since Vieira in 2004, so even if they signed Messi, Mbappé, Dembélé, Yamal, Haaland and Bellingham, it still wouldn’t make any difference - would it?
Meanwhile, over at Valirx FC, experienced manager Marcus Ecclestonni believes in the club so much he has bought 8%. He’s built a compact but highly experienced coaching staff around him, all aligned with his ambition to take Val to the very top.
On the pitch, Marcus has assembled a genuinely top-class squad and because he recognises the importance of flexible playing patterns has brought in players with different strengths: CLX provides the driving force, repurposing brings the range, veterinary adds versatility, immunotherapy supplies defensive resilience, clickmers deliver creativity and behind them, a bench full of emerging talent.
His abilities in the transfer market were highlighted when he sold defender VAL401 for a lucrative £16m plus royalties to Ambrose FC, and then pulled off the masterstroke of getting him loaned back with Ambrose even paying Val for the privilege of letting them develop their own player. Mind you, Mr Ecclestonni’s talent for shrewd trading was highlighted while at Volition FC when he sold promising teenager Nu.Q for $28m.
Off the pitch, the commercial interest is heating up. Emirates, Etihad Airways, Standard Chartered, and Adidas (or biopharma equivalents) are all vying to get their names on the shirt. Val FC has genuine “feeder clubs” through its collaborations with Omios, Voxcell, TwinEdge, McGill, IRICoR and a whole network of others feeding talent and opportunities into the system. Attendances have improved at Val Park, and the gate receipts have risen 43% over the last 16 weeks.
Even the governing body seems to recognise Val FC is building something special. They’ve modernised the rulebook to encourage clubs that play the right way: NAM-focused. Grants, incentives and new frameworks are all being shaped to reward Val FC’s forward-thinking approach.
Ten years ago, an exciting Leicester side walked the prem, ironically keeping your team off the top. Now they look destined for another relegation. That’s what happens when the infrastructure isn’t in place. Val FC are being built for sustained dominance, not the quick wins that some competitors chase.
If Gunners fans can believe in a title challenge after 25 years without winning it, surely Val supporters are entitled to the same optimism now that they’ve actually assembled the strongest squad and structure they’ve ever had.
