This remains non binding and will apply only to a very limited patient group, not the broad access some are suggesting and is like to lead to minimal revenue, if any. The commercial terms are still unknown, if they exist at all, and reimbursement may only be partial. Any negative developments would weigh heavily on sentiment. Much will depend on the finer details and requirements, which have yet to be explored or clarified, and that will take time.

Some are clearly over hyping this. It is also worth remembering that Vlad’s track record with partners and commercialisation has not been strong.

This is a false statement.

To be fair, he isn’t wrong. There are still a number of challenges before this can be commercialised, particularly around costs and practicalities. It’s also worth stressing that this is non-binding, which is key. We’ve already seen what happened with J&J and how that commercialisation agreement was quietly withdrawn, so caution is warranted.

Overall, it’s a good step in the right direction, but with clear caveats. It won’t send the share price soaring, though it is encouraging to see progress.

What’s wrong with stating a fact that this can’t be called a cure yet?

No worries, I don’t know you, but I’ll stick by what I said. This was already somewhat known and it isn’t a cure. Updates like this are common at this stage. The market usually aligns after the initial excitement, and some will get spiked for a while before settling back to a sensible valuation as we wait for the most challenging phase ahead.

Respectfully, if you were genuine investors, you’d acknowledge that what I’ve said isn’t wrong or negative. This kind of update isn’t unusual at Phase I and the real challenges often emerge when the dosage is increased. It’s also far too early to call this a ‘cure.’

Even if standard tests show no AML cells, that doesn’t mean the disease is gone. Patients can still have residual disease, meaning tiny numbers of cancer cells that standard methods don’t pick up. That’s why durability of response is such a key measure and why there’s still a long road ahead.

Wtf? I haven’t said anything that isn’t factual. It’s pleasing but no one can claim it’s a cure. That’s absurd and wrong.

The market probably anticipated this milestone since Hemogenyx has been updating after each patient, so the “third patient safety” confirmation isn’t a surprise. It’s more a validation step than a brand-new development.

For the patient, it’s naturally hopeful news no detectable AML cells is encouraging. But that doesn’t equal a cure:

• Testing limits: Standard assays may miss minimal residual disease.

• Durability unknown: Early responses don’t always translate into lasting remission.

• Trial stage: Still Phase I, low dose, very small cohort.

So yes this is a step forward, but there’s still a long road with many hurdles (dose escalation, consistency across more patients, durability of response, regulatory milestones).

Likely already priced in with the recent rise but we may see a spike initially as you sell into it. You say £24 so you can sell lower and leave others holding bags 😉

It isn’t a complete cure. It’s based on standard testing and no indication on durability.

It doesn’t need ramping for your exit. 🙄
