Today’s little share price dance is a welcome but musing side show. SGE is a quality FTSE100 technology company quietly going about its business, innovating and reinvesting for further growth and profitability.

A number of traditional, profitable and well run defensive stocks just seem out of favour at the moment.

Decided to buy my first tranche this morning. Happy with my sub 2700p purchase but time will tell...
Given the current state of economical affairs I expect a few bumps and jolts in the road but what price large data sets?
Individuals and companies will need to be smarter with their monies that’’s for sure.

I can see “Sanitising stations” being positioned at public venues for the foreseeable future.
There may never again be a time where they completely disappear, especially in the winter months.

An insider buying £100 000 and an unknown seller of £124 000 are hardly the same.
Besides, take a look at the TWO £1 000 000 buys after hours. (Not including the +\- £1 000 000 pairing.)

If anybody does know something bad they clearly forgot to tip off the insider who recently bought £100 000 of shares.

RB will have been selling disinfectant and other cleaning products hand over fist these last few weeks and months and the share price is pre C-19 levels!

An extract from one of the weekend’s broadsheets:
UBS found that the energy sector, which is dominated by oil companies, would grow earnings per share by 625pc in 2021. London-listed Shell and BP are among the world’s biggest players. Next was the industrials sector, consisting of engineering and machinery companies such as BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce, where earnings are expected to grow by 79pc next year.

Necessity is the mother of invention. Unfortunately many businesses will fold but many more new enterprises will be formed over time.
The only alternative is that we go back to living in caves, and I can’t see that scenario making a return.
