I will have to sell off some of IAG to funds rights for Easyjet. That look more profitable as its still trading 10% above ex-rights 638p
Yes existing share holders as of yesterday should take up full rights to be rewarded unless they think price could go down further than 630-640p

Update on trading
In August 2021, UK domestic capacity was at 105% of 2019 levels with a load factor of 82%, whist intra-EU capacity was at
81% of 2019 levels with a load factors of 85%, demonstrating the strength of the Group's UK domestic and intra-EU flying
schedule.
The Directors expect the Group's capacity in Q4 2021 to be approximately 57% of Q4 2019 levels, which is a significant
increase compared to Q3 2021, when easyJet flew 17% of Q3 2019 capacity. During Q4 2021, the Company expects to
increase capacity allocation and improve expected load factors on both UK domestic and intra-EU flying, with UK domestic
capacity already at pre-pandemic levels.
Looking into Q1 2022, the Company currently expects to fly up to 60% of Q1 2019 capacity with a continued focus on
profitable flying
yes thats what the news says. I guess price would eventually drop to 630-640p before the rights issued.....
Anyone know what the rights issue date is?
Need 15k cash for rights, blimey!
Ok. It seems if price stay above £5.9-£6 then taking rights offer would be a wise decision.
Hi ,
Any expert can tell us calculation as to how many shares we need to purchase @410p if lets say I own 1000 shares. SO, I know how much cash I need.
I did take IAG rights offer last time around and that was not a bad deal.
"Under the rights issue, shareholders will be able to buy 31 new shares for every 47 existing shares at a price of 410 pence each, a 35.8% discount on the theoretical ex-rights price of 638 pence per share on Sept. 8, easyJet said.

Jtan, I would not recommend you getting in 140’s , if you have waited for so long then you can as well wait for 120’s or under a pound. Why you want a loss by buying at 140’s if you certain of 120’s.
Going to start day trading on this share...losing a bit of patience holding this for long term
Going to start day trading with this share now
For a while now, travel stocks goes the other way when market goes up. Its frustrating.
I use to check for ftse futures in morning to see which direction its moving so I know if its a positive day or not. Not anymore, ftse movement is no indication of which way travel stocks will go, generally its always going down no matter what ftse 100/ ftse 250 does. If i would have stayed with jd sports, barclays etc I would have made more money but i sold them to put them all in iag and easyjet. I know it will be rewarded in long term but in short term its in very frustrating.
Big blue, you are always right!
Ftse12, you could sell now, its close to 165 now
I come to iag board to check discussions about iag and put off by climate change crap
I have topped up both IAG and ESJ today. Fingers crossed. I am ok if it goes down to 150p, will top up by selling some other shares. I only want IAG and ESJ and CINE and MAB in my portfolio. I am sure they will by come stronger in years if not then what's point of our life if we cant fly, cant drink and cant go to cinema...lol
I meant is it just me?
Big blue need to stop posting irritating stuff. Is it juste feel pis*#d after reading his post?
Thefarend : not really if traffic is only 20% of prepandemic level as per the article
