I think until ML is ratified and a lot of the noise surrounding it dies down there could be a bit more turbulence

A little bit surprised swest at that comment re sp hair cut as in most cases when a company raises the price often falls back to the raise price and often below it .. I think it very prudent they have for the reasons explained in the rns but probably more than likely they do not want to get caught on the hop if another bid comes in particularly if a bit more aggressive which they would want to defend against

No you are not ..I had a feeling despite being told we did not need to raise cash that we need some in the interim until MIIF come up with their funds and we do a deal on the outstanding spod which will not be until the new year so we were looking a little vunerable ..quite often you will see companies bolster their treasury when they have been on the end of a bid just in case of further distraction.. I am pleased with the pro active response from ALL

Agree ..the feldspar was always going to be a bonus and even better staying in Ghana..as regards comments made by various commentators regards the lease I think there has been a fundamental misunderstanding with regards the economics and benefits for Ghana but the various members of MIIF and Ayisi have made a very good effort of defending the decision to grant the Lease

I think it has been fairly pointless issuing individual RNS 's ..nothing to be gained other than a bit of disdain and a few raised eyebrows..could have saved a few hundred quid !!

Been out all day and ironically had been thinking that ALL were getting a good bit of newsflow going which should stimulate the sp..is there any curve ball that could upset this ? Lol . Just a little bit one sided I thought from the judge..huge outsider investment risk in the first instance with multi million pounds spent on exploration .. massive investment into the local economy without any guarantee of a return and then big infrastructure spend before any spod is out of the ground..generous free carry with other financial payments , MIIF on board at a very good entry point (almost 50% up already ) taxes to be paid and hundreds of locals to be employed ...at least Ayisi speaks up very well for the company and is very well aware that Ghana has to be equitable to all and be careful not to put off outside companies from investing in their country..I think she should be careful what they wish for

I am happy it was not mentioned and just tell the market what we are doing and proper value will out..if another bid comes along at such a low level hopefully that will be batted away in a similar way..as we get ever closer to production and the resource grows the sp will reflect a more realistic valuation

Well Neil was actually in Noosa on the 16th when Len took over so he was either ill or too busy with something else !!

Just the conspiracy theorist in me but I thought it a little strange when Len stepped in for Neil the other day to give the company presentation which was clearly thrown at him at the last minute although I thought he handled it very well and now as I type Neil was originally down to speak at the 121 Mining conference and Amanda has stepped in which I would say was slightly out of her comfort zone ..hmmm wrong end of the stick or is he talking to someone else ?

Whilst it is clear ALL has enjoyed a friendly and helpful relationship with Assore over many years , it could be argued that their offer of 33p is a little disingenuous ..maybe that is a bit strong saying they are being insincere but on the 20th of October when we announced the ML our sp hit 30p before settling back at 26p ..Admittedly when they made the first offer the price was 24.75 but on the 7 November they pitched their second bid when the sp was 21p ish.. with Kieran Daly and Christelle Van der Merwe in their corner I think they know what they are looking at and ALL would very much be a snip anywhere near their offer price..ultimately I think it is win win from where they stand..if they scooped up ALL for a song they win or if they have to wait a couple more years and start reaping rewards through dividends they stand to gain enormously..if someone else throws their hat into the ring and pushes the price up and them out they still gain !
