Urbanguru, I have just checked my Interactive Investor ISA account and I have not been charged any stamp duty. Also since paying my monthly fee of £9.99 by DD, I now have not been charged the £7.99 trade charge, so effectively, no charges per trade ,all profit when you win.
I would think your Halifax, which is basicly a Building Soc. and cant be bothered. I do not know about 212, but have read good reports.
I would phone your Companies and ask them to explain. Hope this helps.

Hi Urbanguru, You should not be charged Stamp Duty, its not applicable, on this share.
DWT, Make sure you fill in a W8-Ben form so that you only pay 15% tax, not 30%.
Due to me being misled by I I. I had to fill in the form after payday, they then paid me the 15% and a £20 curtesy payment into my Bank.

Ninetails, I agree, my point is this Country will require oil/gas/hydrogen for 20 years at least. So lets use our own. The oilmen you talk about could be employed and paying tax to the UK. Their company would pay tax/vat to the UK, and profits/wages would circulate in the economy.
So by signing the partition, I hope it gets this Country. Government and People, moving.

I know some on here say we are only producing egg cupfulls, but for each one of those we are making over a $100 per. E/C/F .

Over the weekend I have been encouraged by the change in sentiment regarding UK being more self sufficient in energy. Plus have just watched GB News where all 3 on the panel were in favour of increasing our own output. Also giving Fracking a controlled chance. How quick life changes when the pressure is really on.
