My theory of 1.10 to 1.24 approx. did not work out this time, so I have stayed in for the divi. and had a small top up this morning. With the Company doing great things, and now giving us a nudge nudge, wink wink, of higher sp, I will use this quarter to increase holdings.
I have already said that now the Tanos deal is done the Company value should increase and so the sp.
All in my opinion, of course.

Hi Trek. Well we finished in the Blue a good sign. Purchasers of the sale have made a nice profit. Dec will be a bigger Company and I think the sp. will reflects this.
Like you my average is £1.12 and I still think it will increase, in the next few weeks to £1.24. 10% up. who knows maybe more.
Again these are my thoughts, not advice to anyone.

Hi Gavster/ All. I bought back in on Frriday, could not stand the strain any longer. I had a buy order in for some time for 1.08. This morning its getting close to 1.10.
Been in here two years and other than last qrt it follows a loop of 1.10 to 1.24 approx. That means a profit of over 10% without worry, as well as a 10%/4 divi as well.
Remember, this is not advice, only my observations.

Hi Inthevoid. I am still holding my wet, torn, crumpled tickets from Northcote Energy in January 2012. A long journey through about 5 company name changes. Having averaged down with a lot of money, they were worth about a £100 when HE1 came along. I decided to stay in, as I thought this was a chance to get some return. Still do. I think that there is a silent majority on here who are in a similar position, hoping for the best.

Hi thehickster. Yes its drops after ED. it revolves around it loop. Trouble is, the last quarter it raised its parameters, higher highs, and higher lows. ( £1.24 to £1.44 ). Now it seems to be returning to its original loop of approx. £1.10 to maybe £1.25. That gives you a good chance to get a good trade in, beesides the Divi.
I think Trekmalone thinks along these lines as well.

Well said RG33. According to Silent Steve we do not need to frack, which is good. But other British oilers may need to, especially in the Lancashire region, which is said to have large amounts of oil which the country now needs.

Just had time to read the RNS. From some of the early posts on here I was not given the impression the news was good, although the sp. was up %. Now I have read the RNS I feel much happier. The Rigs seem primed for action and a Jan/Feb start date given. Although I was hoping for start this year, I will take early 2023.

Jim800, my thoughts. The Company is still the same, the oil in the ground and out produced still has the same value as before BB. The JCB`s Rigs, and Wells are still as valuable as last week, so the net profit should remain as is. But now the Co. is owned by less people (shares) so should increase the value of each of those.
Re. Trek`s point about divi`s, same divi. divided by less shares means increased payments. Or will they diminish the divi. pot?

If a buyback does make a difference to the sp., and I now think it must, no matter how small is it, at the stage of purchase or, as I suspect, at the time of cancellation?
If so will we be notified of cancellation ?.

I left school recently with an honour in maths. Well 62 years ago, which is recent compared to oil and coal in the ground. We are 18% down today, but, shares bought =802375238 value = 725959.48. Shares sold = 119987618 value = 108228.20. I should have gone to Uni. Or spec savers !
