That's what I've been thinking - if you are Ara and are wanting to drill to get revenue and are just incurring costs then presumably from Ara's point of view the sooner they can get going the better. I think it all comes down to my lack of understanding between what is said 're the requirement to get the gas to satisfy demand and the lack of action to do anything about it. Simply frustrating!

Do posters on here think we will have started drilling by the end of this year, or for the more optimistic ones - do you think we will be selling gas by the end of this year?

We've had RNSs saying progress on a number of fronts - but still painfully slow.

Just dawned on me if 45 days that implies middle of February rather than next week. So a little while to wait for non-op into - possibly we will hear something before then.

Following from the drilling and results of SSH1. Obviously that is the focus but it also looks like following this in Q2 2024 there will be a similar exercise on the AH3 well previously drilled and I believe that was 1100m.

So, lots to look forward to and I didn't even mention the satellite results lol.

Yes, I believe so I think it's 45/46 days after proceeding quarter so maybe an update on Mon-ok and also possibly progress on the Paradox some time next week?

I don't think it helps when in their last RNS they say

We have grounds for considerable optimism as we look towards 2024, which is set to be

extremely active and characterised by substantial news flow

and then we hear nothing for a month. I don't think such statements add to anything apart from building expectation - then we hear nothing!

If the results are good and better than expected is it reasonable to presume that the sp will be re-rated to a significantly higher price and from then on, given news and plans from other operators in the region the sp will continue on an upward trend? I suppose what I'm really saying is that this drill will be the turning point we have been waiting for, for quite a while?

That just reminded me - do we know what happened with the drill with the 'skin' issue.

I thought they were going back to reassess that one, or have they given up on that.

I suppose, naturally as time moves on the focus is now on the latest results but would be interesting to know if they managed to address the issue previously found.

Different timeline to the one as mentioned in RNSs. On 10th January in the END it was said the development licence would be received very soon. It's the 30th January tomorrow and still we wait. The CPR seems to have disappeared off the radar too unless I have missed a mitigating circumstance?

The prospects of the Paradox. I think he recently said the sp should have a target price of 20p.

Will be interesting if he still includes Zephyr in his bucket list.

It was a top performer a couple of years ago - sadly last year it presumably will be well down in the table and no announcements so far this year with the sp trend looking down. I think we need some positive news from management and a realistic plan that investors will be able to believe in here. The Slawson wells were a positive step but progress or lack of in the Paradox will be key. Here's hoping we get that this year.

This is a total guess but say we are half way through the 30 days then possibly the end of the 30 days by day 10th February?

I suppose just a bit more patience required and more to the point that the results are as good as the flare suggests.
