The blow out issue has obviously caused them problems. The main thing I was trying to say was that even if progress is less than they anticipated you would think a rethink in strategy might be a good idea - either funding or some sort of joint venture might be useful. It has been mentioned that we might get news on the 16-2 soon.

If things don't change we will me waiting for progress on 36-2 without any further revenue, or funds to move things forward more quickly.

Maybe we will find out more in time.

Do you think the bird will fly to say 15p in the next couple of weeks or do you think it will soar a bit more :-) Maybe 20p in 6 months time with further good results?

Thanks for that elland, hope you are well. The 16-2 has been a bit of a mystery to me for a while, so God to know we are likely to get an update before not too long. Hope my post didn't ask to negative, it just seems they are making slower progress than even they anticipated a couple of years ago.

Relative lack of progress over the last couple of years and also because when I invested in the company I thought they were a company that would push ahead and they appear to have struggled - they seem(possibly due to lack of financing) only be able to post concentrate their efforts in one thing before moving on to the next whether they need to have a rethink.

The rethink could be along the lines of a capital raise - though I think their management and more so shareholders would not we this as a favourable option. The other option is what a few people have mentioned a few times over a period of time and that is some sort of joint venture or farm out.

Time will tell but I don't think they can make the sort of process they were hoping for a couple of years ago without one of other of those two options. Colin promised lots of news flow but I think one of the things they need to address is their strategy going forward.

I'd just like to say how refreshing, supportive and informative the Falcon oil and Gas one is. For some other companies on this board there appear to be petty squabbles, arguments and continuous winding up of each other without any interesting information or informed debate.

I really enjoy being part of the th is group.

Here's hoping that continues and we can all prosper together moving forwards.

I agree too - would be a great question. I suppose it's a matter of earning revenue when they are producing of possibly selling the company.

Some time ago I thought they were thinking of selling the company and then I think things changed and they wanted to benefit from future development. I am not quite sure what their position is now.

Which prompts me to ask any sign of that CPR yet - I thought it was promised back end of last year! Just another example of items on the list passing their expected due date. Would be good to know what the new estimates are in the context of the size of reserves.

Not sure what's happened to 16-2 - gone quiet on that one unless I missed something. I thought they could start to get that one sorted whilst doing the twin 36-2 drill. All focus seems to be on 36-2 though.

Let's hope they can make some progress in the next few months.

Same time. I'm assuming that it's now three weeks to go before an announcement of results. They did say end of February and the 29th February is a Thursday - so maybe the 29th is pencilled in as a day for the results.

That's what I've been thinking - if you are Ara and are wanting to drill to get revenue and are just incurring costs then presumably from Ara's point of view the sooner they can get going the better. I think it all comes down to my lack of understanding between what is said 're the requirement to get the gas to satisfy demand and the lack of action to do anything about it. Simply frustrating!
