Heck, throwing caution to the wind I've bought a few in the hope of recouping an imprudent gamble on the Scotch mist gold mine!
Although loathing the mnemonic passionately - GLA but especially me!
The company does seem to be a little tardy with announcements and updates posted on the investor section of their website. Is there something we should ne reading into this?
I can see that the great energy panic of 2022/3 is easing and consequently long-term energy price hedges will reduce but should this decline in sentiment really have the effect on the price that we have seen in recent months? I confess that my motivation for having such a high (for me) proportion invested in NESF is primarily for the dividend and not any great expectation of capital growth so long-term hold is my strategy but I worry that the financial sand might be draining through my fingers.
Is anyone else doing the same based on the relentlessly positive statements by the management that the share is seriously oversold and the NAV remains >£1 or does somebody know something nasty that the rest of us dont as what else is hammering the price?
I think we must have bought at around the same time OWLS - I am quite pleased with an 80% price gain and the dividends that trickle through too.
Thanks for the reassurance! Having a good few at a weighted average of 100p I was becoming worried!
Is anyone able to hint as to why the the share price is trading at such a discount to the latest NAV of 109p?
I have tried and failed so must be missing something elemental and not simply a result of their small accounting error earlier in the year or the uncertainty in loan rates.
So far this clown has been unwilling to reveal their true motive for continually posting negative comments about DRX and its unlikely they will. I'd echo comments from others that recommend not provoking the troll who has nothing of value to contribute and continually demonstrates their narcissistic desire for attention. Filter/ bin ;-)
I admit to being a bottom feeder but my 3pm buy via HL isn't yet shown.
This mine has proved the glinty stuff is there at high grade with potentially very low ASIC but it is worrying that the outlook has done an abrupt about turn in only 30 days. Lets hope the AGM more fully explains the unexplainable and I haven't simply thrown good money after bad.
The price is swinging quite a bit at the moment what with local and geopolitics messing with the karma!
That said there is money to be made if you're a day trader but sadly I'm not that brave! If only they would pay down more of that debt pile......
...and your gut is as reliable as a BBC weather forecast.....
The focus of all the green homes/ sustainable warmth initiatives sponsored by BEIS is 'fabric first' i.e. to stop the leakage of all that expensive heat in the first place. (check out LAD/ HUG and ECO4 schemes)
Within these schemes the objective is an assessment of measures needed to improve ventilation, the lack of which is often a primary cause of damp and attendant mould that so tragically appears to have resulted in the death of a toddler and the latest political football for Michael Gove to show his concern about.
As someone with some knowledge of the subject, the government is taking the right approach to this at last however Mr Shapps demonstrating the use of a draught stopper reminiscent of visiting your granny 50 years ago, is hardly the correct message to be sending to those that have insufficient airflow that would keep the humidity level below the dew point but perhaps he is able to better afford to keep the ambient temperature of his gaff sufficiently elevated.
Wishing all fellow Drax'ers a very happy holiday and being ever charitable, I'll even extend this seasons greeting to our very short 'friend' who seems to have been rather quiet of late - long may they remain so!
WB also said the time to be brave when everyone else is fearful!
a broke clock!
;-)
....and as soon as Effix appears and contributes his endless positivity, the share bounces :-)
As a clock is accurate twice a day you're always welcome when the share needs a bit of support matey !
If you are so much better informed Effix you would already know the answers you wouldn't need to ask such silly questions. Could I suggest you return to the back of the class and resume your doodling with the crayons and colouring books along with the others in the catch-up group? From time to time if you look in on the more advanced class you might actually learn something but then, you're not really here to do that are you?

Because Effix is a clown of the first water. Check out its other posts on DRX and you will see the level of their accuracy and can judge for yourself whether they show a more persistent de-ramper. If he were a horse, with that track record you should definitely be betting on another nag.
