troll baiting time - I must live in a topsy turvey universe where gravity works in a completely different sense - from my perspective this stone is definitely falling upwards.... 3.2% up (or is it down effix03 sweet (or sour?) honey?)
Added 4075 @16.27p - all the spare cash in the HL account until the end of the month bringing my holding to 64k averaged at 18.19p.
Oh sorry, in the 2 mins it took to pen the last its risen to 0.5%.....Buy!
In a sea of red today, this share is the only one in my PF of 26 that is actually holding/ gaining (0.3%) - Buy!
the spread is now the lowest I've seen for a long time which is nice to see.
my inherent human greed has come to an accommodation with my greener tendencies and so I will be locking my thermostat until hoar frost on the inside of my windows obscures the view of locals building snowmen and sledging. I will justify this to my nearest and dearest as our collective contribution to reducing CO2, thus achieving the dual objective of salving any personal environmental guilt whilst accumulating great wealth based on the inability of others to do the same.
As for a certain plastic modeller, they will no doubt be kept warm by the glow of their flammable shorts.....
@ted - you have attracted the attention of a persistent and zero value troll. Unless you're dead set on engaging in a useless debate with this clown could I advise denying it the oxygen of indulgence it so obviously craves?
My take, for what its worth is that this share is perplexing only in that despite all the great news and prospects of jam tomorrow it fails to react as you might expect i.e. rocket upwards. This could be because previous speculation that pushed the price over 30p but then slumped back again has left a fair number of boats high and dry and wary of being bitten twice. Unless you are very brave and enjoy the risks of day trading it would seem more prudent to do nothing or buy the dips knowing that Newcrest is committed to mining this resource because it realistically has very few other options to keep its existing mine at Telfer running at an economic capacity. Also consider the other value prospects GGP is exploring Juri etc and the possibility that this might lure a major into a takeover bid.... the coming 12mths will be a fascinating time for the LTH'rs
he's not a Troll but a Gonk and definitely in need of some sort of fixing. No movement?......twonk!
Gas prices about to rocket 40%.....biomass going up at the same rate? I think not!
For any non LTH'ers that may have missed Bottle's video last evening could I suggest you watch the last 15mins where Stuart shares his hard learned strategy for investing in AIM stocks in this sector? We are in possession of a massive resource - keep the faith, watch the chart and stop complaining - you got onto this rollercoaster of your own volition.
:-)
After a couple of price retreats is anyone else awaiting the doom laden cawing of our resident storm crow as after a good few days of silence they must have mended their crystal ball of despair by now.....?
The momentum is building - this time green steel - https://www.hl.co.uk/news/2021/8/19/green-steel-swedish-company-ships-first-batch-made-without-using-coal
Got to love this share - 64% rise in 15mths and 13% in dividend returns too......Its against my ethics but I cant help the observation that for the 8th day in succession just like the reverse of the Grand old Duke of York its marching back up hill.
@BAMPS - really appreciate the task list which gives a great insight into the work programme.
Time for a naïve question but one I haven't been able to answer myself - how is it planned to economically transport the won ore to Telfer for processing?
With one exception where the limit order failed to trigger for what its worth, my experience with HL has overall been good and transactions are nigh on immediate.
Its disappointing that they didn't appear to have the spare part in reserve but hardly surprising given that the kit is still very new and effectively still being commissioned. We have to remember that the venture has always been up against a tight budget and holding reserve stock is effectively dead money until used which might otherwise been felt better employed elsewhere. Unfortunately this is a risk call which the benefit of 20/20 hindsight is shown to be have been wrong but the announced mitigation actions are a very positive sign especially if this type of spare in not an off the shelf item or where there may have been collateral damage to bespoke fittings such as a casting.
Its a setback but the overall news continues to be positive.
“The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.”
Methinks all the action is on GGP......
A really interesting set of data that shows the true potential of renewables such as H2. Thanks for the link Bilbo.....may the hairs on your toes never fall out!
SoR - thanks - I should read the RNS more carefully! Still, its a dilemma whether to hold on or take the money and run hoping to buy back later.....
3 directors sold total of c.120k shares on 8/03/2021....given today's rocketing price I wonder why?
