This and the Anthropic IPO could suck liquidity out of the market depressing prices across the board as folk sell stock to fund a slice of the IPO in the hope of a quick buck. If this happens it will be a great opportunity to buy into GGP with its proven revenue, huge reserves and competent management.

Ways and means. DJT seems to be unwilling or unable to do either.

If you follow Felix Prehn (GOAT Academy) and his assistant Winston, you will have seen his recent Youtube post about Service Now and the coincidental activities of house members buying stock in the company. Apparently DJT already owns $1m worth of shares in the company and its CEO has recently bought 3m for himself. Personally I am sceptical about such information but after a precipitous fall in its price perhaps there is some credibility in looking at it?

Lets not forget that the potential of the Great Flat Lode has not been included in MRE or that Cornish Tin at Wheal Vor , itself a mine area with high grade ore and large remaining reserves, may seek surface processing synergies if they are short of capital to develop their own. There is no shortage of metal(s) in the area so if alluvial deposits elsewhere continue to be in short supply and Tin remains a strategic metal, then the deep mines will be money-makers into the future.

I had a similar beating with Scotgold - a salutary lesson in reality versus faith in an ideal.

Mining in Cornwall has seen many ups and downs but with a worldwide shortage and continued demand we can only hope that this and other prospects are successful for the benefit of the local and national economy as well as LTH.

Even better if TIN can remain a company in its own right and not swallowed up by a foreign conglomerate that has little or no interest in Cornwall.

Hi - has anyone yet received the dividend payable on 5 Nov? My holding is with HL but is not yet showing and although likely to pay off this months account charge it would still be nice to see it, however briefly :-)

I also have two HL accounts holding GGP shares but both consolidations have been calculated correctly.

Trusting to the sentiment at the time I didn't sell and so my average is 198p! Its worrying that despite its clear advantages VF technology has still made very few inroads into the BES market which is still dominated by Lithium. Thankfully my original investment was quite small but I had hoped for better things (and still do).

Heck, throwing caution to the wind I've bought a few in the hope of recouping an imprudent gamble on the Scotch mist gold mine!

The company does seem to be a little tardy with announcements and updates posted on the investor section of their website. Is there something we should ne reading into this?

I can see that the great energy panic of 2022/3 is easing and consequently long-term energy price hedges will reduce but should this decline in sentiment really have the effect on the price that we have seen in recent months? I confess that my motivation for having such a high (for me) proportion invested in NESF is primarily for the dividend and not any great expectation of capital growth so long-term hold is my strategy but I worry that the financial sand might be draining through my fingers.

Is anyone else doing the same based on the relentlessly positive statements by the management that the share is seriously oversold and the NAV remains >£1 or does somebody know something nasty that the rest of us dont as what else is hammering the price?

I think we must have bought at around the same time OWLS - I am quite pleased with an 80% price gain and the dividends that trickle through too.
