I haven't ever shorted a share before, just an index, but would consider it here. However, since I have friends in here, namely theammer, then I'd consider sharing any financial gain with them. I'm still smiling after beating man utd today, I may have to wear my new LFC shirt for every game now!

If we're all perceiving that the share may drift to low 50s then I'm sure others will be waiting on the sidelines for that too. Time to open a short and make even more money as it drifts towards our target

Well documented that I got out in the 70s so I'd like to be proved right. 40s would be lovely for me but I get the feeling it may bounce around the mid 50s for some time. I don't see why it would rise at the moment since the rise from 50p was speculative because of the takeover which is now dead

I'm certainly going to get more and more interested the closer it gets to 40p. Not stating that I think that's the bottom, just that at that level it's very good value. I'm just hoping that they are not overstretching themselves having been on the acquisition trail

Mad isn't it. Look at Renovo too, valued at only 60% of their cash! There are some bargains around at the moment, i'm still trying to work out why TRV have a 60m euro surplus that they are planning to give back to shareholders. No such thing as a free lunch IMO but it does at least mean there's only the chance to lose 50% of the share value!

A good point made below by tom48, and they must've been aware that the deal was going to falter when they were proceeding with the GAU takeover. I just get the feeling that there will little buying pressure in the next few weeks and the SP may drop slowly down. But then WTFDIK :D

I never left them to be honest. I bought more than I intended to when they dipped last time and then sold that lot for a decent profit. Back to my original planned holding (100k shares) with an improved average. It's all worked out rather well for once! I'll buy more on the next dip and do the same again, trying same tact on AST but not sure of my next move there yet

Take off two noughts and round it up. It's easier to spot it by the share amount

Lol, now that would be very extravagant! When you come to put them in your LSE portfolio, you'll have to put another 2 noughts on otherwise your £1k investment will say £10! Good luck here, there's plenty of risk on the fundamentals but institutions don't buy in at these levels unless they think something's brewing. As Mystic says, we need to do our own research too

This is one of those daft ones that the decimal point is in the wrong place (see GDG, it says 7.25 but really they're $7.25c a share) Mine was the 25,000 shares at 19c (euro cents) a share, slightly more than £65! Those two share purchase on monday were worth £300k, we believe that someone's building a decent stake here.
