I get where you are coming from, but sometimes cash just sat there is as good as it gets.
FTSE100 is now 7250, in March 2020 it was below 4900 and I recall the FTSE100 touching under 3500 during the credit crunch.
If and when the ar$e falls out of the market it is always brutal, I could be missing g out on further gains but this feels like a time to hunker down for a while.

Simple charting, 35p was always where we were heading once the company opened up about Platypus.
The info at the OGA showed us the relinquishment at the end of July.
A gilt edged opportunity to make money.
I hope that one day you can exercise baggers rights, that'll be the day when we can all retire to a home in the sun.

The support at 35p seems pretty solid, buyers are there and sellers seem to have dried up.
How deep that support is only time will tell.
I'm hoping for a crazy dip down to 31 9p, we've been there before and a macro event could see us there again.
If not I'm happy to have sold a chunk in the mid 50s that I have now bought back in the mid 30s

What drilling program are you referring to for early next year?
I am only aware of Leemdijk and De Bree (LDS-A and LDS-B) The annual report states that the two well drilling campaign on the Drenthe VI licence is scheduled for late 2022/ early 2023.

An oil field discovered in 1983, with levels of hydrogen sulfide similar to those found in Mordor would make huge headlines.

Some of those sells at around 35.5p are buys.
I have taken a few of the shares back that I sold at 54p.

Climate change was just as much an issue in 2013 as it is today so I'm not buying the climate emergency argument.
For my money it is just another strategy to gather YES votes.

Smart move by Shell.
The Dutch government failed to support them so they move HQ to the UK.
The Scottish government demonise them, the UK government remains silent so they pull out of Cambo.
The mood music from Shell is superb, support us or we will go elsewhere. The world needs oil and gas and we are very very good at extracting it safely.
The SNP will happily see oil imported from more polluting sources, says it all about them in my opinion

As I write Shell and BP are up 3% today.
Meanwhile Parkmead drops another 3%.
If Parkmead can't tread water on a good day, what will it do on the next big down day?
35p well in range now.

The pessimist in me thinks that the lack of communication and progress could be an attempt to drive the shareprice down as low as possible.
Then, the concert party up the shares, take the company private and then sell it
