Not quite, but a strong performance in a flat market, which bodes well for tomorrow and next week.

This is a bit different to the normal ups and downs, as ENRC is well behind it's peers and should be on a par with XTA in terms of SP. The 'Congo effect' has held this back whilst the others were gaining. Over the last 6 mnths, XTA fell from 1300 to 900 then picked up to 1150 as confidence returned to the markets. Over the same period ENRC fell from 1200 to 850, but is only just picking up. So, to get back in line with the sector, which it will, we should be around 1100p. That is my target.

...910p is the new resistance level. I think that may go later today.

...ENRC outperforming it's peers. The 'catch up' is on for sure and my feeling is that were it not for the debacle in the Congo, we would now be around 1100p, on a par with XTA. So looking at the charts, I feel that is the target. There will be ups and downs for sure, but the trend, barring major bad news, will be up from now on. IMHO.

I think there may be some news in the offing. Isn't there a motor show on somewhere this week ? Could be a deal happening that's been leaked. It would certainly be welcome that's for sure.

You need to realise that ENRC, along with the other big miners in the sector, reflect quite closely the performance of the FTSE and NYSE. When they dip, so do the miners. Today is quite normal, as the FTSE improves, so will the SP here. Have a look at the charts and learn to spot the trading ranges, then buy at the bottom and sell at the top. Not always easy to do, but by by being patient and following the SP for a few weeks, you'll get a good idea of when to buy and sell. That's when you can start to trade profitably.

Today's drop is in line with the sector and isn't (IMO) based on the legal action. The initial news of the FQ claim did hold the price back, but as details have been clarified, this has been factored into the price. I feel that ENRC will trade in line with the sector and will eventually come to an agreement with FQ that takes account of the infrastructure that FQ have developed. FQ will walk away with something and ENRC will have a (partially completed) new facility, probably at a lesser price than it would have cost.

...we don't get any more of that OTT ramping designed to suck in the unwary, so that those caught out yesterday can offload their stock. I'm sure those that have researched things can decide for themselves. Eh guys.

Nice rise and given the rest of the sector, it bodes well for the rest of the week.

Indeed, we've got some catching up to do. Think we might see my 900p before the bell ?

It is a great long term investment for sure, but by buying low and selling high, you can increase your holding at no cost. It can take a while, but if you sell high, there will soon be a buying window in one of them and then you can put your profits back and get more shares.

I must admit that this, along with KAZ, XTA and FRES are my 'cash cows'. I buy the dips and sell the peaks, as they normally occouir on a regular basis, (check out the graphs). However, having just sold XTA, (too soon!), I got in here at 839p as it just seemed too low. The Congo problems have kept the price down when the rest were climbing, but now that that is receding, I'm sure that we'll see full price regained. I'm not selling here for a while yet.

Take a look at the charts for KAZ, XTA, FRES, etc and compare them with ENRC. We are well below the sector level so I would expect a concerted rise from here. 1100 is where we should be, without the 'Congo Effect'.
