Angry American Mining, who have staged a daring raid on Serious Mineral shareholders, aided and abetted by insiders JP Morbid *ankers, announce plans for a second tunnel under the fabled Yorkshire National Park. This smaller access tunnel will help Chris Failure, who so cleverly knitted the wool hats pulled over the investors heads, reach the mine daily, from an undisclosed location, thereby evading the attention of 85,000 people of Yorkshire, whose only desire is to express their thanks for emptying their pension pots of unwanted cash. More on this story to follow.
Am I right in thinking that the only reason AAL is trying to buy this out before the cash runs out is the need to keep the tunnelling machine going ? If it stops tunnelling that’s it - it’s buried underground for ever ? I’m guessing if not for this they would simply wait for the company to go into administration before picking up the pieces. Of course they would then risk a bidding war with other companies.
I agree Longtermview24. Reading those tweets one can only conclude that the behaviour of the management team has been particularly disingenuous. Surely the FCA should examine the way shareholders are being stitched up.
On reflection Bullish, perhaps my last point onAIM was a little unfair. Hold many other stocks on AIM and it’s never been boring ! My only bugbear is we have so many tech startups on AIM, yet never seem to grow an Amazon, google, FB, eBay, Uber, Apple or Microsoft. I refuse to believe that we don’t have the brains to do so here in the UK. We do however lack entrepreneurial spirit. Dyson’s been and gone !
Simply stating the reasons why I will be using my stock to vote against this takeover. Was not aware your approval was required for this. Best wishes
I can think of several good reasons not to sell and why my shares will be held until the bitter end.
1. If I sell Chris Fraser will walk away with 6.5 million in cash and keep his job earning millions
2. If I sell JP Morgan’s strategy of pulling the bond offer at the last minute which resulted in the SP collapse will pay off even more
3. If I sell all those shorting bar stewards who short sold Sirius to the tune of 250 million shares or more will win big time
4. If I sell, the Anglo American board will get their hands on the hard earned cash of 85,000 small investors who really do not deserve to lose.
5. If I sell, I will never ever invest in an AIM company ever again.
I agree either the Sirius dream is completed with shareholders on board, or it remains buried forever, 1 mile beneath the Yorkshire National Park.
Please feel free to add any more reasons not to sell.
DarrylJ, I am about 60K down on this but will survive. In a strange way I would rather lose the lot than these these sharks get away with it. CF walks with a minimum of 6.5 million in cash based on his shares alone.
New to this board. Like you, haven’t sold yet. Can’t help thinking after all the work that has been visibly done, this mine has to be worth more. They seem to be looking for capitulation by investors. Given that there are 7 billion shares in issue, we ain’t seen nothing yet. All the post close buys yesterday suggest someone is hoovering up any unwanted stock.
