Thank you for your detailed response. I have followed your lead and accumulated a substantial holding (for me). Even if this goes up ten fold the market cap would be 10-12 million pounds which undervalues the company. I am sure there are many large investors including the Koreans and Chinese who would pay 15-20 million for the company if it were to go up for sale. I am not sure how much influence retail investors have on the share price. In my experience they are often weak holders who lack patience and therefore sell up and move on.

Question for Dr Jan Oliver-Strych if you still visit this board - do you think the very vigorous response from Share Prophets suggests that there is significant short activity with regard to Versarien? With 4.5 billion shares in circulation is it possible that at least 500 million to a billion shares may be on loan to short sellers ?

I am beginning to understand what Warren Buffet meant when he said 'buy when there's blood on the streets' though I believe he may have stolen that from Rothschild. It takes serious guts to buy at these levels.

Step fall on low volume. MC now only 1 million which is a steal for the IP alone. Manipulating the share price is so easy at these levels. Buy 100,000 shares and dump them at 10% less means you only lose a hundred quid. I am under no illusions there are those with vested interests who are doing this. Holding at present but will certainly add if the price falls much further.

Don't know much about Seeing machines and their potential, however they have a market cap of near 200 million. Xeros on the other hand at 6.5 million is unlikely to fall much further, they also have no debt and have enough of a cash runway to see them through to profitability. A ten bagger would take Xeros to 65 million and a share price of 12p whereas a ten bagger would need seeing machine to justify a valuation of 2 billion which is a big ask. Just my take. Good luck.

I believe the SP is undergoing a significant correction. SP first week of January was 0.38p, now 1.30p. Most of the shares are with institutional investors. It is possible that there are large amounts of shares yet on loan. Most institutions have higher averages, so won't be looking to sell, unless they do so at a loss.

Current market cap is 6.5 million thereabouts. Is it possible this company could be worth 100 million ? Most definitely.

Hence my belief there will be a correction.

DrJanOliverS, thank you for your transparency, it is almost unheard of on bulletin boards such as this. Most investors who frequent these sites are decent and honest folk seeking to invest and make a return. There are a small but significant minority who will seek to deceive, obfuscate and riddicule, manipulating the share price in the process. I have increased my investment here as your reasoning appears sound and you come across as an honest contributor. I do however have concerns that their cash burn may leave them without enough 'runway' left.

4 years ago, Versarien received a grant of 1.95 million pounds. Hard to believe the entire company is now valued at 1.34 million.

I am in kinged to agree Strangy83. My break even within my ISA is 4pence which would give a market cap of 30 million ? I am hoping this day will come. My shares are firmly in the bottom drawer with no plans to sell. Sadly most of us who believed in the technology and supported the company in the days of Atlantis Energy, won't reap the benefit of having done so. I blame Gupta and the rubbish pellets strategy.
