They say a fool and his money are easily parted - I must be a complete ******** numpty then cos I've just lumped in again to average down. Ever hopeful.
Thanks Dan - a lot of this goes well over my head (I'll stick to the day job ;-) )
Anyone able to explain the latest RNS in simple terms to a dullard like me ?
I just keep having this image of David Attenborough narrating over footage of a stampeding herd of wildebeest every time I have a look at the MXO share price. ( you've seen the footages - Starts with few individual beasts and then rapidly becomes an uncontrollable stampede of millions of animals..... ??)
So, we cool ?
Yeah, we cool.
Yes, re Herencia I'm resigned to the fact it's going the same way as my other mining ventures - was so optimistic at the outset.
I think your fair assessments and comments on MXO are sound and hopefully a reasonable longer term investment.
I don't think I'll be giving up the day job any time soon.
BW
Yeah mate. Still in MXO and thankfully averaged down over last 12/12 so actually done well with recent events. Watching with interest where it's going and next few days probably going to suggest which way it's heading. Low threshold for getting out but if the rampers are even half right could hang in a bit longer.Could do with a Sheikh showing interest in Herencia for a bit - heavily invested here and 80% odd loss.
Hi DB -Just looked in to see if any news having been reminded am invested here after reading your posts on other share site. Doesn't appear to be any change/news but still hoping for a turnaround as seemingly does occasionally occur.
GL mate and BW.
Indeed.....The Generals sip Bacardi whilst the privates feel the pain.
I just hope I don't jinx this company by loading up here too to reduce my average - all my other investments (HER,CRND,ORE,PRS,BMR,KEM,PXS...) have gone down the pan :-(
Could do with bit of blue.....
Hey, that's great. Been Waiting desperately for the trading suspension to lift as I've funds burning a hole in my pocket to purchase more ;-)
Any suggestions what the further announcement might be ? Can't say I'm particularly hopeful for anything positive.
...and appears to be bleeding out like a stuck pig !
Thanks for replies Myepic and Christoph. I had indeed thought about simply forgetting about HER for a few years - esp as 89% loss on the investment and little to be gained by selling. I was so optimistic at the beginning and held faith whilst averaging down over and over again. I think the advice to hold is best option. Think I'll put HER in my man drawer for a few years. BW NMH
Thanks for reply NB - that's what keeps me hanging in there, you just don't know. (I'd bite someone's hand off for 0.5p ;-) )
So, I invested in HER at it's peak of somewhere around the 4p mark. I've kept faith over last 7 years or so and averaged down when able with what I could afford to invest. I'm not a big/pro investor and current valuation of shares is just a tad shy of 500 notes which isn't gonna buy much - perhaps a decent meal out. Without wanting to upset some people on here (It's not a deramp) is it time to bail out and chuck the meagre sum at another penny share or hold faith and see the value climb back to the dizzy heights of pennies. I would be truly interested in any insightful suggestions and hopefully not attract abuse for being pessimistic. Thank you in advance HER investors. NMH

Indeed Christoph, me too. I log in to lse now and again hoping to see a large blue % rise or a positive take on the future of HER but ultimately realistic. I've probably unwisely thrown too much at it to get my average below 1p but if it does survive and they get mining underway I'll have a better chance of breaking even I suppose. However, as I said I'm not bitter and what will be will be - would be nice to pay off the mortgage though ;-)
Indeed, a long time - I can just about remember the excitement as I invested my first tranche of monies into HER back in 2011 at 3.8 something.... dreaming of early retirement (LOL). Been topping up over the years to average down. I'm not bitter as there are far more important things in life - like breathing. BW
weeping into my beer regarding almost all of my investments ( a swathe of red) .... perhaps a punt on the horses more advisable.
Unfortunately Amtech I think you're right - perhaps not fantasy but unrealistically hopeful. (My pint glass is always half full ;-) )
