I had to phone 7 pharmacies today before I found one with stock in North London, and I was only available to get the appointment and jab as someone had just cancelled their booking. Keeping well away from the NHS over this Winter seems a wise plan; anyone who is exposed to the (great) unwashed should consider getting the vaccine for their own health as well as their family's, especially if they will be mixing with older relatives or someone considered 'at risk'.

The pneumonia vaccine is also worthy of consideration as the bacteria will be crawling around hospitals this winter.

I have had to call 7 pharmacies in North London before finding one with a flu jab in stock this morning - all the rest are saying try calling in 2 weeks as there is no available stock (and that they expect over 65s to be prioritised when it comes back into stock).

If you are planning on having the jab you may want to start hunting because stocks are limited.

My local pharmacies will not let me have a flu jab as I am too young - if you are over 65 you may wish to consider getting one before they run out as it looks as though our CONservative government may have misgoverned and not got enough despite knowing how important it was to get them before the winter covid wave.

I keep a lazy eye on this as I like the industry - a glimmer of hope for future wine revenue could be the devastating fires in the US. Even where the vineyards have not been damaged the grapes pick up the slightly acrid smoke taste and end up producing poor quality wines.

Premium products might be commanding higher premiums in the future?

Reports net liabilities in the interims - no matter how you try and explain that, it appears to have been technically insolvent and only able to report as a going concern because of a post balance sheet fundraise?
