If only that were true there would be no political interfering in tax compliance. Ever wondered why there has never been tax enquiry projects into the horse racing industry; why family trusts are given a light touch approach, why rich taxpayers have a Customer Relationship Manager they can call to discus tax matters, why the bending of rules around partnerships are tolerated, why people who stashed money offshore were allowed to pay a tax and a small penalty instead of being prosecuted.

It is very bad; Economics 101 teaches about spending multipliers... The knock-on effects will be devastating to areas reliant on trade with the EU. I am planning on moving soon to Cornwall where the farming and tourism should not be too badly impacted. Boris and his TEN Friends have dug a deep hole for London to collapse into.
