PHC - they issued an RNS about a new distribution agreement for one of heir products to target the potato industry. More tubers with higher calcium uptake, especially from soil that has had NPK used on it for years. Higher calcium means better storage.

Good news on its own, but better news longer term as it potentially opens the door for the new products they are just starting to get regulatory approval for. It is not a get-rich-quick share, but I am expecting dividends around the current share price by the end of the decade [unless taken over by big AGRI before then].

The overuse of NPK can create insoluble Calcium in soil, so improving calcium uptake and therefore longer shelf life is notable.

And if Harpin helps then the 3G products must have even more potential.

Clearly not good news for the countries using Sinovac'c vaccine - WHO approved and used by 37 countries so far. The t-cell response is also poor, so even worse; the link below should open the paper from Oxford Open Immunology if that is your cup of tea [the AZ vaccine generates 25 times as many t-cells, the Pfizer another 150% more than the AZ].

Surely a better metaphor would be Frog Pot - Frogs are cooked from cold water whilst Lobsters are added to water that is already boiling. Most who invested a while ago [the fabled long term holders] slowly lost over time and became trapped. If they had found out that the water was already so hot they might have jumped straight out?

An example of group think; too many people agreeing with each other and believing each other's hype. And a lot of them claim to have gone in deep, possibly to deep.

On similar shares, a large drop on bad news is always followed by a bounce as 'true believers average down. Maybe good for a trade for some, but not me.

We may be offered boosters around November; at the moment, research is indicating that getting an mRNA shot results in a massive anti-body spike for those who received the AZ Vaccine but that the existing mRNA vaccines are not as effective against the Delta variant.

I will be keeping an ear out on the virology podcast I listen to as if a booster is optional I would like to make an informed choice.

Some anti-viral pills are going into testing soon; a bit like Tamiflu they might be effective is taken soon enough after infection.
