You are falling for the nonsense posted by cuddothisnow - ANGS cannot take advantage of the current spike in gas prices as they produce no gas at the moment. In addition, the spike in gas prices as shown by forward contracts drops next Summer, rises back over Winter 2022 and then falls back closer to historic prices [when the bulk of any gas produced will be sold].

Anybody who is trying to value unknown quantities of gas that will be produced in years to come at the current spike in spot prices for delivery in Winter 2021 is either making a basic mistake or is deliberately trying to mislead others.

Upgraded PEA at Lagoa Salgada increases NOV by more than 100% to $340m. MAFL have a free carry of 17.5% and may still end up with the 20% owned by the Portuguese GOV. Even at the 17.5% free carry that is $60m for a Aimer with a m/cap of £4m.

A timely reminder from cuddothisnow. The last accounts were the interims up to 31 March. In those 6 months, the company consumed £1.549m on operating activities, which is just under £60k per week. At the end of the period they had £591k in cash and £760k in 'Trade and other receivables' [mainly due from farmees].

Even if all outstanding amounts have been collected, it is starting to look as though cash reserves will be getting tight as the £12m received to finance Saltfleetby is expected to be ringfenced for that project.
