I noted in the June presentation it was mentioned that 'an extra 1% in staff utilisation [currently at 72%] increases the bottom line by £0.5m.'

Since then a couple of companies I am invested in have said that worker shortages are holding them back. An extra few percent utilisation makes a big difference to the bottom line here; hopefully the capacity is now being used. When I allocated my hours when working for a member of the Big 4, 95% chargeable time was expected.

Driver Group is not a transport company... I am holding them as part of my Covid 'build back better' picks. They describe themselves as:

'Driver Trett is a multi-disciplinary consultancy which provides specialist commercial management, planning, programming and scheduling, project management, and dispute resolution support services.'

The worker shortage may be good for Driver Group - in their last presentation they said worker utilisation was at just over 70% and that every extra percent was worth £0.5m in profit. For a company with a m/cap of £27m and profit of £2m, an extra few / £5m would turbocharge the share price.

I am up 31%; I expect there is a good chunk more left but worker and other shortages have been highlighted by the company as holding them back.
