The presentation on YouTube is worth a watch - AW notes that there are some precious minerals in the metallurgy tests done in the past. Obviously, some gold and silver adds quite a bit of value; and in a VMS deposit, a rich seam can make underground mining profitable [which would target a larger deposit than open pit mining].

I have an interest in a VMS deposit in Portugal, where the precious metals are so rich that targetting them first should pay off the CAPEX in under 2 years of mining. VMS deposits are poly metallic and can be very valuable. They can also take a long time to define and then attract investment, so are not normally a get rich quick investment.

EST have given some figures for one of their copper prospect suggesting 1.6 to 2.1% copper equivalent on over 5mt of resource suitable for open cast mining in an area with existing processing capacity [owned by Glencore and KAZ].

Market has had no reaction; the company seems undervalued to me - they have a rare earth project as well [which is what made me buy some shares in the company].

The RNS indicates an open pit resource of between 5 and 6 mt at a Copper Equivalent of 1.59 to 2.1% which could be cheaply exploited by using existing infrastructure owned by either Glencore or KAZ that have spare capacity. Open pit mining is cheap - probably under $20 a tonne to produce 16 kilos of copper.

That gives a margin of over $100 a tonne, which is quite high for an open pit option. A potential of hundreds of millions of $ in the ground. These are better figures than the share price's anaemic reaction.

Correct - Turkish Delight sell for about £6 a kilo at Tesco's. A barrel of oil weighs about 150 kg, which would be around a $1000 for the same weight in Turkish Delight. If UKOG strike a seam rich in Turkish Delight then shareholders will have found the sweet spot.

The idea of Hydrogen to homes is plain stupid but GOV are happy to push it - a cynic might think that some politicians are receiving funding from companies who want to use Gas to make 'blue' hydrogen. Hydrogen has a place [mainly ammonia] but it is not in the gas network.

My version is that the Swiss CB have managed a massive confidence trick - they have seemingly solved the problem in the banks by wiping out shareholders and bondholders without spending their own money AND will have damaged the value of the Swiss Franc, making their international trade more competitive which will lead to more taxes being collected.
