1 - where is the outreach from the requisitioners to the wider shareholder base for their proposals? What are their intentions? Where do they see VAL going to? What relevant experience do they have?

2 - are the requisitioners the same as those a few weeks ago or have an alternate bunch tried to muscle in / been recruited by Suzy?

As usual Adrian makes a spelling mistake but his general point is 100% correct... Now that they have managed to get the share price over their nominal value more confetti can be printed [as has been the basis of the business for years]. I expect to see a significant amount of new shares either placed or committed through some sort of open ended convertible loan type scenario.

They will want to go out with tax cuts. There are many political benefits, especially if they steal Labour's plans and change non-dom rules and VAT on private schools and use that money to fund the tax cuts.

This hampers Labour's election manifesto promises; makes it harder for Labour to reverse the changes [as putting taxes back up would be unpopular and not a good platform to canvas for the election on]. And, more importantly, when you operate from a public schoolboy attitude that politics is a game then if you hamper your opponent in office then you are more likely to get back into power yourself sooner.

Good politics but poor for the country... some would even say it is treasonous.
