When the hype first started over HE1 a few years ago, I had a look at the costs of building the cryogenic plant needed to exploit any find. The costs are immense; beyond what any tiddly speculative explorer can ever hope for. And, if they find a big enough commercial reservoir, then I would expect any forward-looking country to nationalise the asset.

Sure, if you are well enough tuned to the hype you may be able to trade the shares all day long, but the whole sector is becoming a bubble hyped by people who do not appreciate the immense costs that will be involved. And, if I was a well paid CEO relying on punters buying placing shares, I would be in no hurry to tell them their money is doomed.

I think VANL is seriously overlooked... they have been muddling along at low productivity and low asset usage; increasing the usage of their geotechnical and ground engineering assets quickly flows through into increased gross profits as the fixed costs remain constant [those same fixed costs that they are currently profitable at].
