Shareholders get shafted when MA 'rescues' a business [and the landlords, staff, pension funds etc].

The government will surely allow this to prevent significant damages to the staff pension funds - Debenhams going bankrupt because they cannot pay the rent whilst Brexit plays out is not a Conservative vote winner.
