I think TRP is going to be going for it this year29 Jan 2026 10:14
There seems to be a lot of Green boxes on here which would suggest many or just one person for whatever reason spouting nonsense.
Facts From real research and emails with JA
I have shares in Tower resources at one level or another for quite some time. Here is some of the research I’ve picked up over the years including discussions with JA.
Once all the red tape is done and then we start drilling here’s the plan:
* Strategy: Tower intends to utilize a MOPU alongside a simple steel platform (jack-up) to process oil and offload it directly into a shuttle tanker, allowing for rapid commercial production.
* Timeline: The NJOM-3 well is now expected to be drilled in the first quarter of 2026 (delayed from 2024/2025 due to rig availability and financing).
* Rapid Development: The company intends to initiate a two-year extended production test immediately after testing the well, with the MOPU and tanker arrangement allowing for early production.
* Infrastructure: The proposed development involves suspending the NJOM-3 well as a future producer and installing facilities under a Provisional Exploitation Authorisation (PEA).
* Farm-out Agreement: A 42.5% interest farm-out agreement with Prime Global Energies Limited was executed in early 2025, which helps secure the necessary funding for the drilling and development work.
While the immediate focus for Tower has been the Njonji-3 appraisal well (targeting shallow, mainly oil-bearing sands), there is also potential deeper plays that represents substantial upside that can be pursued once the shallow, lower-risk Njonji field is in production and leading to monetization to fund further upside potential.
Potential Size and Analogy Based on Other Fields
* Analogy: The Thali block lies in the Rio del Rey basin, a sub-basin of the Niger Delta, and the deeper, undrilled prospects are considered analogues to the "giant" Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea) and similar "Alba-type" fields.
* Deep Play Upside: The undrilled deep exploration play in the Thali PSC is estimated to offer a similarly large, or "equally large," resource upside to the shallow Njonji prospects, which already have a 100+ million barrel (MMb) recoverable potential.
* Total Potential: Tower has indicated that >600 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMBOE) have been identified in further emerging exploration plays across the block, which includes the deeper, undrilled prospects.
* Specific Structures: Beyond the Njonji oil discovery, the company has identified significant potential in the Dissoni South and Idenao East leads, which are expected to contain more material, potentially gas-prone, resources.
