Congratulations for officially joining FTSE 250 later this month.

I think the planning decision on the Manor Farm data centre is due soon. I remember early June was the revised date. Haven't seen any news.

I agree with you Smokey closer to 500 is needed for a guaranteed entry. However, I see a few companies currently on FTSE 250 have fallen below the minimum level and they need to be replace. I didn't have time to check where Ashtead is placed amongst the candidates. I just know its now getting into the range needed.

Ashtead must have a shot to enter FTSE 250 when the index reset is announced in a few weeks if the share price remains in this 520p range..

It must be the ii platform. I have the same issue = CORDI. Goes to a blank screen when I click on it.

Trek, was not expecting the main market listing to take place so quickly. Based on RNS today I believe the move happens on April 30th. I believe this means CORD will be part of the FTSE 250 to be announced around June 22nd in effective end June. I'm not aware of any qualifying period before entry to FTSE 250.

Money Makers Investment Trust podcast. Interesting to hear about independent sum of the parts valuations indicating higher values than NAV. He seems determined to realise the true value of the trust. The shift to the main market listing and FTSE250 steps are examples coming soon. Steven Marshall more than most will benefit given the number of shares he owns. I feel like 2026 is going to be a good year.

Good question BPC50. Many investment trusts have a continuity vote built into their articles of association, usually on a fixed period every 5 years. UKW continuity vote is setup differently. It triggers every year the discount is 10% of greater below NAV. It can be every year if that criteria is met.

I think that is a very reasonable explanation for the recent SP trend despite the Middle East impacts. Thank you.

Credit to RunThoseProfits who pointed out some time ago that 500p was the magic number for entry into FTSE250. I think these days it's actually slightly lower. We've hit that number now and if AT can sustain this price the announcement will come on June 22nd that were into FTSE 250.

Anyone else find it odd that Ashtead keeps on rising when essentially 5% of their totally business in Middle East is essentially on hold. Feels like a lot of optimism in the share price and I see no news to support the trend. Any thoughts or speculations?

My mistake 4.66 SP rather than 3.66.

I believe Ashtead technically entered the FTSE 250 market value range if the index were reset today. I'm using 80.4mil shares and 3.66 share price = 375 mil market cap. Ashtead market cap now exceeds NCC Group PLC and MARSHALLS PLC in the 250 ranking.

Looking forward to the next index reset in June.

It is x-div day. SP should drop by 1.59p

Why is the P/E misleading for Ashtead? What are better indicators to use for a company like Ashtead to evaluate value?
