You don't seem to get it paddy I sold the 10000 that I had bought at 145 for 151 profit 530 pounds on that trade, I still hold the 20000 that I had bought at 156 on Thursday so until I sell those I have lost nothing on them, if these drop on Monday to 145 I can buy the 10000 back and i will have banked £530 if they rise on Monday I still have the 20000 that I bought on the Thursday.
If I had decided on Friday not to have bought any more I would still hold the original 20000 that I had bought on Thursday at 156 but I would not have an extra £530 in my pot now, now if this is all above your head maybe you should not be dealing in shares.

If you read it right i bought 10000 at 145 and sold at 151 the 20000 was bought the day before at 156 which I still have.

Bought into this share on Thursday 20000 at 156, bought another 10000 at 145 yesterday, but i put a sell price in at 151 for the 10000 i had bought early on which they sold just before the close, made above £500 on them, but it could have been a mistake, if they drop Monday i will buy them back again.
I think this could be quite a good buy long term.

The share price seems to be holding it's own at the moment when the ftse is down, so maybe that is a good sign.

doesn't look like it is going to break the 160 barrier today.

rights the stock market should have crashed today with the gdp figures brought out this morning, the stock market is getting very hard to understand at the moment.

That is so true comeonvog, before the pandemic you could have bought into a share that had had bad results and hold, but since the virus it is up one day and down the next, i have certain shares that i watch and buy on a daily basis and if you can time it right you can make profit at least weekly, ie BDEV which i buy a lot dropped to 511 Monday then went to 544 now back down to 511 in less than a week, and this is how it has been with loads of shares since the virus.

I have to disagree with you on that score Clemoc, at the moment the only way to make money is when you have a made profit sell and buy back when they drop, since the start of April i have bought and sold these 5 times and every time i have made a good profit, the shares i own in this have cost me nothing and also have money in the bank as well, if i had held on to my first buy in this on 3rd of April i would be stuck in at 352, instead like i said above my shares are free, but it is each to their own way of trading.

Half my stake in this last week at 48, with a loss of 29p a share, looking at this today and maybe i should have got out altogether, if and it is a big if, if this survives it will be a great buy at these prices but it is only for the brave imo.

You must have been very lucky Captive if you could have bought 10000 all in one go, because i have not been able to buy 2000 in one go in the past.

Topped up another 500 at 280, bringing my average down to 303.

All well and good opening the cinema's but the thing is if the movie makers don't release the films to show, or they aren't making movies as quick as before then this is going to have an impact on cineworld.

I had bought more at 280 now.

Decent rise this morning for a few days, as it happens you would have been ok to average down yesterday, lets hope the rise this morning does not fade later on.

You could average down, but is it worth it because you don't know where the bottom is.
