Chartist the average age that voted leave was 47, i don't know where they get that it was all old people that voted leave. Having said that old people have knowledge, they have a lifetime of experiance. Would you trust someone aged say 18 with your money to do the dealing of the shares for you with no experiance.

You have got to remember the older generation knew what it was like before we joined the said common market, and imo they would say we were better off then than we are now.
Just think about it before we joined and for a few years after, there was no shortage of houses, you could get a doctors appointment straight away, if you needed a opp you didn't have to wait months, there were very few potholes in the roads, school places where the parents wanted their child to go, you could even find a public toilet, the list goes on and on.
As for polls they got the last referendum wrong, and i think they would be wrong this time.
IMO they should leave on WTO rules unless they can get a good deal, and don't forget they have not even started talking trade deals yet, when they do what is May going to give away for a trade deal, will the powers that be still say you can't walk away.

Hey Rastuss i doubt very much we are going to get the brexit we voted for, May will give in to them in the end, because once again it is the minority who wins over the majority.

Sickens me mate to think you can't walk away from a bad deal, it's just like you paying 300 for BOO shares now but you can't walk away, i have never heard something more stupid.

As for a no deal brexit, don't believe all they say about it, it was just like before the ref we were going to lose 800,000 jobs, house prices would sink, economy would crash, interest rates would go up, all wrong, there will be a bit of pain but there will be more for the EU than for us.

Hi everyone i was expecting a dip this morning across all sectors, i know Kaz down and miners in general, but the other shares are not doing to bad. Me thinks that the markets are expecting that artical 50 will be delayed or maybe another vote, or even stopping brexit. The pound gained as soon has the vote had finnished. It's a bit like dammed if i do and dammed if i don't. GL all.

Could well do that 123, it's like today, a lot of shares i keep my eye on daily has done that today, Kaz has been up and down, ASC down above 200 at one time same with BOO, and PFG, all these you could have made a nice profit, but like you say they could be doen first thing and then recover, i think the next week could be volatile because you don't know what May is going to do, IMO if you can get in a share and make a quick profit, you might be as well taking it. Don't know how BOO could be down on those results, you just can't weigh up the markets, just glad i didn't buy any yesterday. Anybody have any thoughts about the market reaction tomorrow after the vote tonight ?.

Not buying anything now Chartist till at least Wednesday, see how it pans out with brexit, i think BOO could go up tomorrow to above 200 after results but i am holding off.
I have just got 2000 of these and 25000 SXX i will hold those for time being, their could be a good buying opp this week, but then again it is just like May to get the vote through, or maybe the shares have been priced into her losing the vote, we will see on Wednesday morning.

Does anybody use Google finance, for some reason it has stopped automaticaly updating live prices as they move is anyone else got this problem?

Morning Chartist, looking at Gcm when shares spike so much in one day usualy they retrace the day after, not saying that will happen to Gcm but most shares do. I keep a watch on quite a few shares including AIM shares and penny shares, it isn't often that they carry on going up and up. I don't think Asos will see £77 again it could gain £2 or £3 in a day but it might drop back then, i have watched PFG since it dropped and that keeps making a bit only to drop back again, there has been quite a few like that last year.

Wonder how the vote on Tuesday will effect the share prices Wednesday, if she losses by a wide margin and depending what happens after we could be in for a rocky ride next week.

Hi 123 if you are on about ASC i put a limit price of 2930 on Wednesday that did not get there, i only ever puy a limit buy on for one day, Thursday i could have bought at a lower price but i didn't, as for why thread it, you could say that for a lot of threads that are posted, i am sorry if i have upset you on my post.

That's what i like to do Chartist, day or weekly trade not long term allthough sometimes i have to hold for a few Months if a share i buy drops, sometimes i end up bailing out at a loss if i think a share isn't going anywhere. I have only been dealing in shares for about 10 years, up to press just about holding my own.

Chartist if i had bought ASC yesterday at 2,900 i would have bought 2000 and i would have sold first thing this morning with a profit of around £1300, that is what i like to do in and out of a share so long as i can make a bit of profit.

I haven't bought any ASC at the moment Chartist, but they are up and down every day, if you time it right you can be in and out with a profit every day, nearly touched the buy button yesterday at 2,900,just waiting on the wings at the moment to many things going off, you have to be careful at the mo.
