I am thinking the same thing Leem1, i don't think this will rise much if at all before the update on the 15th and then we aren't sure if that is going to be good, i can't see them bringing an RNS out before that so we have 7 trading days to be like this. I myself never like holding a share before a trading update because it is not often they rise after one, if this goes up a little to say 65 before update i might sell.

I saw that on short tracker as well Auson which is not a great deal for shorting a company. So somebody might be selling in the background, and if their is then they have to have a buyer as well.

At the moment there does not seem to be anything that will send this share north. It looks like the market is waiting for the update later this month, or maybe a very big buy might send it north a little, but the price of oil isn't making any difference to the share price, unless it it goes down then we may follow. I hope TLW gives out an upbeat RNS the one like ECO did.

That's just what I can't understand MrD about ECO.

For some reason market forces are holding this back,won't let it go above 60, there must be a lot of sellers in the background. ECO is flying at the moment, ECO have a lot of interests with TLW, so by rights this should also be rising. If we don't get some sort of good news later this Month the shorters will kill this company off.

How the hell can ECO share price be above TLW.

If this doesn't head north today when oil at 70$ then something is wrong that we don't know about.

Bloody hell you must have a lot of money invested here if you could retire when it reaches only 105. I think you could be retiring in the next 6 months if you cash out then. I am already retired and I only really play about with share trading, gives me something to do on these winter days, but still don't like losing money although what I play with is probably peanuts to what some on here play with. Good luck whatever you do but I think we will get above 100 in the near future.

That's a bit of a sxxx comment 101 nobody likes to lose money but there is no need to rub peoples noses in just because you are in profit, i myself are not down all that much, but there are some on here that are down a great deal, so have a bit of sympathy instead of being so ****y, not a great way to start the new year.

I don't know how they are doing it, every well they are drilling over there seems to be hitting the jackpot, and yet TLW are the other way.

It does make you wonder if they want a buyer at a lower price, but then they might know they nobody will want to buy at say 250, but when ECO put yesterday's RNS out it should also have helped TLW share price because on some projects they have an interest in TLW. There is no way TLW should be on 60p unless there is some more bad news which they are not saying. TLW assets represent around 150 a share alone. I am sure this will turnaround in 2020 it is just a waiting game for us all.

I still can't fathom how this only increased a measly half a percent when oil increased like it did, but what is rattling me more is the fact is ECO going up by so much from a RNS that doesn't say much really, it isn't as though they have found oil, if TLW had said a more positive approach to Carapa instead of saying we are abandoning it then TLW share price might not be 60p now. I know they can't lie about things, but imo they could have been a lot more upbeat about the drill results, after all they did find oil. It is as though TLW doesn't want the share price to rise for some unknown reason.

I agree MrD but they have played down Carapa yet on the ECO board it is all about Carapa and what a good find, same with there RNS.

It's about time TLW management got a grip here with them being downbeat about Carapa the share price has gone down once again, on the other hand ECO could see what was happening and gave out a very positive RNS to stop the slide in the share price, which has done, so it's about time TLW thought a little bit more of their shareholders and more positive about the company, it's just as though they have given up on it.

What's betting we end up in the red today, and just imagine what price we would be at if oil had not gone u.

Have sold this morning at 63 re bought back and made above 2k if only you had hindsight.

I put a post on like that MrD but for some reason it has vanished.

It's about time short selling was banned all over the world, we might get some stability in the markets then.

Like you say 68 oil well up this morning, but at the moment not doing so good for TLW you would have thought TLW would be up more than this, god help us if oil price went down.

ECO up 11% at the moment, just shows what a good statement does.
