RE: Was yesterday the bottom? I think so.9 Mar 2022 10:42
Hi guys. Just for the record. It's not all that seems. The 'sell' by River & Mercantile was imposed by a client that wanted their money back. RM being an investment fund had lost a mandate of just under a £1 billion pounds that also included their plus 5% that was held in Capita. They had no choice as the mandate was immediately requesting the funds to be returned. It had nothing to do with their either negative or positive view on tomorrow's Capita FY2021 financial results.
Also, IR Stuart Morgan told me recently that St James's Place has been till now the custodian of those shares held in Capita under their name that were transferred to them away from the Neil Woodford fund. So, once again, if some sells did took place in the background, these were not directly carried out because of not having any faith in Capita, but for other de-risking investment decisions that were decided by other external funds managers who have used Capita as a place to place for safekeeping like in the St James's Place situation until time tells these to hold, transfer away again or liquidate and return funds to those that ultimately were the original investors like me and you. Many small and medium private investors lost massively in the Woodford Fund.
Anyhow, today's Capita currently showing trading volumes excluding hidden or later to be reported trades are at 10:40 gmt:
Buy Volumes: 9,507,455
Sell Volumes: 4,021,686
Unknown Volumes: 1,100,000
Good luck to everyone. NoFear. (*__*).
