ILUNGA UNDERGROUND FIRST ORE INTERSECTED

Shanta Gold (AIM: SHG), the East Africa-focused gold producer, developer and explorer, announces that on 10th March 2019 the Company intersected Ilunga underground development ore, three months ahead of schedule. The intersect occurred as predicted in the geological model.

I understand your feelings qwertyqwer25 - at least I think I do.

FK1 used to annoy me, as I suspected him of being a de-ramper.

I'm sure you have noticed the optimism and positivity in my posts, and I have a more-than-sensible percentage of my savings in FLX, but I await the trading update with a mixture of optimism, hope and fear - fear, because FK1 might just be right.

See my previous posts - "Confidence boosters" and "A reminder". That is the sort of thing that caused me to keep adding to my FLX holding, but let's face it - it is all hope value and nothing tangible.

When we get news from FLX, one of us, me or FK1, is going to be proved right, and the other proved wrong - but which way will it go?

Only time will tell who was making astute observations and forecasts, and who was posting drivel. One cannot make a good decision if one has only ever heard on side of a debate.

This is widely known bit of philosophy about who to believe and who to ignore - there are four kinds of men -

There are those who know, and know that they know. They are wise - follow them.

There are those who know, but do not know that they know. Help them to see what they know.

There are those who don't know, and know that they don't know. Teach them.

There are those who don't know, but pretend that they know. They are fools - avoid them.

I am happy to read FK1's posts, as I see them as giving much needed balance to my posts, and I won't filter him out until he is shown the be one of those who don't know, but pretend that they know.

You think it might be a whimsical punt, but if it is by someone with a load of wedge who makes big bets, hopefully they win more often than they lose and that is how they got that wedge and even a whimsical punt gets placed with their intuition telling them that it ought to pay off.

In the face of a falling sp, I'm even more desperate for something positive to clutch on to.

Someone on another board has tipped a placing at 1p, but they could be just acting the goat.

So you are saying that whoever spent £19K has made a big mistake?

I still think that no one spends £19K on a whim. They must have had a good reason, seen something positive to make them want to buy.

Can't you sense the desperation as I try to clutch on to something positive.

The trades screen is now showing a buy of 1,050,000 shares at 16:27 yesterday. 383.25K

The other one was at 16:25 yesterday, a buy of a million shares. £365K

Yesterday - 1,000,000 bought for £365K. It's on somebody's radar.

Provided there is no tremendous general stock market crash, this stock is going only one way.

I don't think you gamble nearly £19,000 on a whim. I wonder what they know.

Why is this board so quiet? Why is there so little interest in a company that has such excellent prospects? Very odd.

Whoops - I meant "at this price" How can I have messed up "this" so badly - it is because I am so nervous from thinking that have a sack full of fool's gold.

Even reading my confidence boosters doesn't ease my concerns.

I really don't know whether, at tihi price, these are now an incredible bargain or they are fool's gold.

It is true that there is a lot of hope rather than certainty in phrases such as "opportunities for new business", "We are extremely excited by the opportunity" and "we are highly confident", but there is no reason why they should fail to grab those opportunities and be doing as well as those other cyber security companies that have made statements such as "Best quarter ever" and there is a statement with some certainty rather than hope - "the result of this is bearing fruit".

Some confidence boosters there - but when you are in this as deep as I am, waiting is not easy.
