I think what investors mean by bottom draw is that over a few years that money tied up in this will be missing out on better opportunities elsewhere. There are other stocks that will shoot up and that are paying good dividends along the way.

Time will tell whether buying now is an astute purchase or risky bottom fishing. I am keen to make money and don't want to miss a money-making opportunity, but I would never buy until FK1 says that it is safe to do so.

Rather than getting into a lifeboat on the Titanic (many of the boats weren't full, there were many spare seats) they would have stayed on the deck enjoying listening to the band playing as the ship went down.

That article came out after that buy, but there were others like it in the days before.

If so, then it was another example of somene buying for theoretical resons, the sort of reasons that we have had put forward on here by the likes of roly and Miss Dribbles.
