Boris I believe everyone has to think it 'might' be lights out as I do but equally they have to think this could rocket, as I do. Down to where the most risk is placed by individuals based upon the scantest of information from the company and indeed whether to believe any message put out by the company.

If good news is delivered on funding for general expenses, the close of the commercial dispute with Essar, the close of the dispute with Agamore, the governments consent for acquisition of the EEPL shares, the performance bond being paid to the government and project finance being secured then we could do very well.

Pretty sure Art was disparaging about LEK Oil fairly recently and their approach to business with the Nigerian Government (they had initiated legal proceedings against the Government over OPL 310). Well Art I hope you don't look at where they are today in the space of less than a year. In dispute, no licence to now having no dispute, a licence and $184m funding secured for their appraisal well with no dilution to shareholders apart from an incentive allocation to the CEO when the SP hits four times its present price, and repayment deferred on both the principal amount and interest (3.25%) until they have been producing for 6 months.

Art you could do with ringing up their CEO and asking for some advice!

I'm really expecting good things here.

We've been going a fair number of years but it is now down to the next 9 months at the very best. Surprised we have ended up here with the asset we have but that all comes down to the initial agreement Art had with Essar. He cannot complain or blame them if he didn't implant a level of control in the contract. Greedy eyes perhaps not tying up the prospect of a sub penny share company (yes we need to bag by more than13x to get to a penny) by allowing Essar a veto.

We have talked about our partnership with Shoreline but the Kola brothers would equally deal with Essar as they would us. All's fair in business as they say. If we had the leverage that Shoreline or Essar have then we would could be equally relaxed about the prospects here. The bottom line is we have never been given the information to make informed investing decisions with his stock and we are now very much out of money.

Be interesting to see how this goes in the next few weeks.

Joking aside it's a strategy that works though as has been proved here. All it needs is a bit of oomph sprinkled with a bit of 'fear of missing out' and hey presto! I don't think that it's over either, on the contrary I would be greatly surprised if it didn't go again soon now that we've popped back down. Did I mention a winning strategy?

Push yourself onto a party. Get rid of anyone who is remotely critical. Bring up issues and then say someone else brought them up. All the while giving out lots of tweets that have no substance or distort the current position and in the meantime enriching themselves.

I'm glad we don't have anyone in the UK who uses that strategy!

Pickwick you are right about the 'coal fines'. They can be an issue if not managed correctly in terms of dewatering as we have been told and again the dewatering process is time v risk. Longer time dewatering less risk. Its how it has to be. Lets not forget also that there is a high likelihood that more water = more gas. I just don't want to see read that both the southern Atlantic Ocean and Indian ocean are mysteriously and jointly lowering in level.

Mozambique was in line with Art's modus operandi of having an asset in line should the existing one be a failure. Its a good, sensible management thing to do and replicates his past in that he had OPL226 in his back pocket in the event that Liberia was a duster which it unexpectedly was.

Moz is gas rich and the need for gas to power is a massive need in Africa. The licence in Moz also holds out potential for an oil find. Ideally we would have been looking at getting a producing field going with OPL226 and income from that would have allowed us to move forward with Moz. Sadly our chronic financial position caused by the severe delays in drilling OPL226 have kiboshed any notion of moving ahead with Moz at this point in time.

Yep absolutely Chukkers, podcasts etc carry no real weight in terms of SP movement. They are however good for keeping us informed as to the companies thoughts which is pretty helpful. Nothing beats an RNS for clarity though as you point out. I hope we all don't have too long to wait on that score. Its been like walking through a desert with no water looking for an oasis. You are missing the point but also hitting the point Suhail. The upside with positive steps being achieved by the company is significant. However there is no reason why we should break through now. We do not know if we have 2 weeks, 2 months or 2 years to make a break through here. You highlight two stocks that are still waiting after years. How can your charts tell you 'there is pending news for significant uplift..' . Clearly they can't.
